Vintage Two Compartment Aluminum Perrine Fly Fishing Box Loaded with Flies
For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this Caddis Fly Box loaded with flies. Right out of an old Denver estate it is an 6 inch x 4 inch aluminum box with a divider. There is no makers mark on the box but it is an early Perrine. One side has small compartments for nymphs. Snelled flies or streamers and the divider clips shut so that they won't fall out. The other has roll spring clips for bigger flies. It has more than 90 flies, some wet flies, some dry and some nymphs which range all the way from a size 20 hook to a size 10 long hook. It is an eclectic lot that would cover almost any trout fishing need from tiny gray hackles to big hoppers. Condition is as you see it in the photos. I dont see any damage on the flies or rusted hooks. We dont know if these have been fished but they are immediately fishable. About Me Vernon Nokes.
