A super collection of large vintage Salmon flies. Consisting of 25 mostly large size hand tied patterns housed in a nice (modern) fly box. The flies are ... morea selection of single and double hooks and appear unused. The largest examples are approximately 2& 1/2 inches in length and tied on old iron hooks. A very nice addition to a collection and for display purposes. Please study my photos as they form a large part of my description. A few(3-4) of the hooks are showing signs of light surface rust. The box measures 7.5 X 5 X 3 inches approx. Free post U.K. only.

They are in good used condition with light marking on one(see clear picture to decide before bidding) They are large blind eye salmon irons in a japanned finish. The largest is a very thick guage and at size 8/0+. With another one at 7/0 and a smaller one at just over a 1/0. I have not seen one like this larger one before and have been told it is a very old and early pattern.there is slight oxodising of the black near the point bend. Not often seen for sale.
