It is in good used condition with some normal usage marking/tarnish(see clear picture to decide before bidding) It is a Silmalloy fly container by Richard Wheatley and is the compartment and clip version. I must say that a few(maybe 3 or 4) do not automatically spring open but can be easily rectified. The compartments contain a number of flies to card and appear to be Hardy flies judging by some of them. There is a number of used flies also on the clips and approx 40 flies in total. The carded ones in the compartments appear to be unused. This particular model not seen for sale that often! It is in good honest used condition with some oxidising and wear(see clear picture to decide before bidding) It is a Richard Wheatley stamped fly box and is a pocket swing leaf version. It does have some tarnish but contains a good amount of flies in good condition(approx 80+) in a variety of styles and sizes. Not often seen for sale. This Richard Wheatley tackle box w/26 fishing flies is in very good condition(see attached photos) This is a quality item and my photos did not do the flies justice. Some of them being quite delicate, ornate and unused. All of the spring-loaded access doors work and the celluloid yellow windows are intact with none missing and no cracks. There are no chips, cracks, dents, repairs, or chunks missing. However, there are age/use-appropriate light micro-scratches and scuffs in the aluminum from handling. This is an old, pre-owned item and is not new. The box measures 4-7/8"W X 3-5/8"D X 1"T and weighs 4.7oz. It is in good honest used condition with content(see clear pictures to decide before bidding) It is an old Wheatley Silmalloy fly box with extra leaf inner and has some nice content in the way over well over 70 assorted mailny used trout and large salmon flies inside some japanned and a couple of old gut eyed. C ertainly one for the collection- rarely seen for sale. I still have one of the lowest postal structures for the items I sell if you check around. Tight lines.
