Vintage Alcedo Micron bent leg Spinning Reel made in Italy w instructions
Up for auction is an Alcedo Micron spinning reel made in Italy. The Alcedo reels were made from the mid 40s to the mid 70s. This particular model was made in the mid 50s. The reel is in excellent condition both in appearance and mechanically. It shows no significant paint loss and the chrome parts show no oxidation. Mechanically it is excellent as well. Reeling smoothly with a strong click and bail spring and a functioning anti reverse. Overall a very nice find for a reel of its age. It comes with a copy of instructions. I'll be liquidating my collection of mostly French and Italian reels over the next few months so you might want to bookmark my address. The plastic part of the reel handle shows some age cracking and there is a little corrosion on the line track of the bail. Otherwise it is fully functional. Vintage ultralite Alcedo Micron spinning reel w/extra spool
Very nice Alcedo Micron spinning reel. It is an older model(serial number AS147) that is a bit dirty. The coin is silver in color. There is a slight amount of finish loss on the back end of the reel body. The rest of the reel shows no finish loss. Even the foot has no rub marks. All parts work as they should. The reel is extremely smooth. The bail is clean(no pitting) and the agate guide is in good condition. The rubber handle was brittle and fell apart. I replaced it with another that is slightly worn but fully functioning. The reel is wound with 200 yards of fresh 4# Floroclear. The spare spool is in excellent condition. Dark green in color and has no line.

This reel is in excellent condition. Free of corrosion, rust or major dings. It shows moderate use. The handle is black. Retrieve is very smooth and clicker work. I have not examined the inside workings. The reel is green color and approximately 3.25" long. The reel is approximately 3.25" high from the reel seat to the reel bottom. The sides are free of chips. Major scratches and dings. The line on the reel is old and will need replacing. It looks like 1 lb. test. The reel is an excellent fresh water reel and should give years of service. Rare complete 1962 L' Alcedo Micron reel. Has all paperwork with matching serial#s. European. All the papers are in Italian. 12 month peak fishing days pocket calender. User manual with parts diagram and instructions. Assembly and care paper. Oiling instuction card(has a tear in it, seen on far left in first picture) Certification(quality assurance) card, hand signed at factory, with March 7th 1962 date and matching serial# inspectors signature on back, all in blue ink. Also comes with unused spare spool, has string on it held in place with rubber band. Package of 2 nuts, screw, bail spring. Alcedo Micron reel- Serial# 1G401. This 50's era reel is used but not abused. It is in as-found condition with no attempt at exterior cleaning or polishing. All parts function properly and do not show excessive wear. I believe it has all original parts. The spool is the same gray/green finish as the body. This highly collectible 1G series reel has the pinned large medallion. Finely designed crank handle with small end at the knob, and knurled bail screw opposite the agate roller. Vintage Alcedo Micron spinning reel w box instructions and extra spool
Up for auction is a vintage Alcedo Micron spinning reel with its original box and instructions along with an extra spool. This is the fourth version of the Micron series made by the famous Alcedo Co. Of Torino Italy. This reel is in excellent condition mechanically. It reels easily has a strong click and bail spring with a functioning anti-reverse. Esthetically it is excellent also, showing essentially no wear. I don't think it was ever mounted on a rod. The box is also in good shape although there was a length of tape over it which was removed leaving a strip of denuded print. I am in the process of selling off my collection so I have a number of other Alcedo reels up for auction. Be sure to check them out. This is a no reserve auction so bid with confidence and good luck.
