Rod is in pretty good condition. All eyes are tight and sets securely into handle. The plate at end of handle needs to be tightened. Screw that holds reel onto handle tightens and holds reel secure. Zebco 33 spinning reel comes with original box. It also has paperwork. Box is in good shape with no split seams. Reel does have some paint scrapes, but seems to work fine. pics were taken inside with flash, so colors may seem a little brighter than they actually are. Please use zoom feature and take a close look at pics before bidding. This combo is in as found condition. Thank you for looking.

This auction is for 3 Zebco 33 closed face spinning reels MADE IN AMERICA. These reels are in excellent condition and have been completely serviced. When I say these reels have been serviced I mean they have been completely stripped down and soaked in mineral spirits over night. Thoroughly cleaned, and then reassembled with synthetic grease and oil to prevent rust and hardening of the lubricants. These reels function perfectly and show almost no signs of wear or use. In fact they work like new. I have been repairing and rebuilding/restoring fishing reels for over 35 years and this is an excellent buy. I try very hard to price the shipping costs at what my costs are keeping in mind that Paypal charges me 4% and Ebay charges 10% and nobody likes to lose money so I am as fair as I can be. These reels are from a boxful of fishing reels I found at a local estate sale. This is the last lot of the bunch. This lot consists of 4 ZEBCO closed faced spinning reels. 3 of them are model#33. And 1 is a model#606. All of the reels seem to work like they should, but a couple of them turn kind of tight. They all need a good cleaning and I'm sure they will work just fine. Up for NO RESERVE Bid is a USA Made. Vintage Zebco Model 33. I am not exactly sure of the year this reel was made, but the pictures and papers/box definitely are a testament to the reel's age. I acquired this reel from my Grandfather who was an avid reel collector. I can say for sure that every one of his reels had been stripped down. Cleaned, and reassembled with company schematics. As far as I can tell, the reel is is perfect working order. There are minor scratches and scuffs on the reel itself, however it appears to be in very good shape. The box and paperwork(user's manual and reel repair instructions) have some wear, and the box itself has some writing on the underside and a small amount of pencil writing on the top which can be seen in the pictures.
