VINTAGE DAM QUICK 331 N FISHING REEL SPINNING REEL FINESSA SERIES ORIGINAL BOX
For your consideration is this vintage fishing reel in its original box. I want to apologize as I am not that knowledgeable about fishing equipment but I will describe the item as I see it and will answer any questions you may have. So please feel free to ask any questions at all that you may have. This is a Vintage D.A.M. Quick 331 N Finessa Series fishing reel. Included is the original box. Info/features etc booklet, warranty and repair stations booklet, a small plastic baggy with misc pieces which appear to be some sort of tool, a spring, an odd looking screw, and another piece I am unsure of. The reel turns/spins nice and smooth in either direction. I see no function issues at all. There is a seal which reads"high speed" as well as a a large metal seal which reads"D.A.M. Quick 331N" and has an image of a man fishing(I ... moretook a close up of this seal) There is another emblem of a fish on the opposite side of the other seals. Although I see no function issues. There is some surface wear in a few areas. I took several photos of the item so you can see it, and please feel free to zoom in on the photos for an even closer look. The area which has the most wear seems to be on the underside of the silver colored handle that you turn to spin the main section. There is also wear on the part which I believe sits on the actual fishing pole. Also. There is some slight edge wear on the the main piece. I realize the way that I am describing this it makes the piece seem like its in horrible condition but honestly its not(as you can tell from the photos) I just prefer to"over-do" my descriptions and have someone be pleasantly surprised rather than take a chance on under describing something and risk having a buyer be disappointed. Personally. I feel photos provide a much better description than any words are able to so please zoom in on the 12 photos provided to get a good idea of what the item looks like. This is a vintage item and therefore the paperwork is not"crisp" and new. Neither is

Looks dirty, but nothing a good cleaning wouldn't get out. Mechanically it needs work. The bail flips back and forth but is very stick. The handle turns but is very hard. This is an old. D.A.M Quick Finessa spinning reel. Fairly nice reel. Once its clean and oiled as is so stiff from old grease it will barely turn. Bail does snap over fine though once you get it turning. By the looks of it. It may be a reversible handle too? Im not familiar with this model, and it is differant from the other one i have listed, but I suspect it may been been repainted? Not sure? Uncleaned as found, with original dirt. Selling a Vintage Quick M.D.S. Finessa 740 FD Spinning Reel
This is a Quick Dam Finessa 740 FD spinning reel. Don't see many of these on E-bay. The fact is I don't think you can find this model in this color on E-bay at this time. As most D.A.M. reels are black.The reel is used, I purchased it in the mid-1980's. So this is a one owner reel. It has a 1: 4.8 gear ratio and is designed and engineered by D.A.M. of Germany. It is about the same size as a 30 or 40 in current model spinning reels. The external appearance is great. The bail works, anti-reverse works, everything is working. The only thing I can find fault with is that the reel feels stiff to turn, which leads me to believe that it needs a good cleaning and lube, as it's been unused just sitting on the shelf for a long time. As the photo shows the rubber comfort pad is missing on the reel handle paddle, the hard plastic paddle ... moreis there and in good condition. Just a heads up, this is a rather heavy reel(lots of metal) weighing just over1-pound on my postal scale. If you have any questions please contact me prior to bidding.

This is a lot of reels so we are selling them as is unless we missed something that is totally misleading or misunderstood. Some of these reels have initials etched in them. Probably from previous owners. There is a 110 which works great and it has been serviced. There is a 220. 330 and a Finessa which is also a 330. Anti-reverse clutch mounted under the gear housing, and attractive black finish with silver and red accents. Reel has a bit of line on it but looks like it may have never been used. Vintage DAM Quick Finessa Spinning Reel Berlin West Germany RUNNING WELL This unusual reel is in good used condition and is ready to take its place in your collection or even ready to take fishing– once you put some line on it of course! The reel is in good shape mechanically. The bail cocks and trips correctly and with authority; the click. Anti-reverse system, and drag system are working and it feels good and solid. It’s set up for right hand retrieve, but can be reversed. It might like a minute with a soft cloth and a drop of oil, but it’s running well the way it is. Cosmetically there are a few signs of use. But there are no missing, broken, or replaced screws or parts and it’s a good example of this model. I wouldn’t hesitate to have it in my collection! For some reason the camera flash shifted the color a little. So I’ve included a ... moreshot without it. I had to use the flash, though, to show some of the details. This reel would make a nice display piece with other period gear. A great addition to your collection, or of course you could turn a couple of heads and just fish it. Estate found and offered for the serious collector amusement. So whether you fish or bid have fun with this great vintage fishing reel! This vintage reel reminds me of one my adapted dad bought at the Army PX in West Germany in 1970, but I'm inclined to believe it might be a couple of decades older. The body sports the"Quick FINESSA" name on one side and the jumping fish logo on the other. Hardware looks to be a mix of Chrome and stainless and the real also features the original crinkle finish paint and black Bakelite knob. The crank housing cover plate is marked"DAM" Western Berlin" and looks like the reel can be made reversible by swapping the plates from side to side. The under-side bottom of the T-mount is marked"MADE IN" WEST GERMANY" This is a uniquely made reel that has the maroon drag adjustment ... moreknob on the end of the reel spool. And around the spool face is embossed the numbers 1-12 for precision tensioning of the spool. There is a lever to select CW and CCW ratchet of silent free turning. This is a great reel in great looking condition that seems to be all complete and operates smoothly.

It is mint with 2 extra spools. Box, and inserts. There is a guarantee card from South Bend(it has"Reel Model Quick 330 formerly Finessa No. 280" and a card advertising the tungsten carbide line roller on one side and ball bearing on the main drive shaft on the other side of the card. The reel can be for left or right handed. The spools are deep for large line capacity. The crank arm folds for easy storage. The interior cardboard is excellent. The exterior top has a store sticker on it, is worn on the corners, and has a very minor piece missing along the side. The piece does not include any of the graphics. The number 330 ... morehas been written on two of the sides. The box has both English and German on it. All other items are excellent. This reel is very smooth in excellent working condition. Spins smoothly no clicking in the 2nd setting. Spins smoothly with a clicking sound in reverse on the 3rd setting. Reel stops spinning when bail wire(which I understand is the brake) is moved to opposite position. The handle and clutch mode selector lever can be installed on either side of the reel for left or right handed users. This 19 page manual is for right and left handed and has instructions. Parts list and exploded diagrams of the reel. This model was produced at the D.A.M. factory in Berlin, Germany. I picked this manual(sorry, could not find the reel) up at an Estate Sale along with many more reels(many varieties) and fishing poles that I am listing and will be listing for quite a while. He had a big collection! I am not a fisherman so I will do my best to describe. I do know they are vintage as the family said the grandpa(pasted away 5 years ago in his late 80's) had not been fishing for years. The manual has the one small tear on the back cover(see pics) and some storage wear, ... morelight foxing, some wrinkles along with some small storage stains.
