Up for auction is a DAM Quick Finessa Fishing Reel. This Vintage DAM reel is in very good condition. On the back of the reel is some minor rubbing and no pitting in the cast iron. Reel could use a deep cleaning, that would brighten it back up to its new state. The Reel Appears to be in excellent working condition. The Finessa Reel comes with a pole, but I don't know the name of pole. I did capture a pictue of a"G" on the end of the pole, perhaps you could message me if you have any knowledge or info on what the"G" could stad for. The pole its self is in good condition, the handle has some wear to it and the 5th eye loop is missing, other than that I believe this rod is pretty solid. Up for auction is a used vintage Quick Junior Stationary Reel No.240 with it's original box. The spin cast reel is a product of West Berlin and patent pending by Martin Precision Fishing Reels Mohawk. NY is imprinted on the plexiglass 1 1/2"x 2 1/2" window showing the works of the reel. The color of the reel is a vibrant Red and has some areas where the paint wore off from use. The reel is fully operational& tested. The reel does not have any missing parts and measures 3 1/4" width x 5" length not including the spool. Vintage DAM Quick Finessa Spinning Reel Berlin West Germany RUNNING WELL This unusual reel is in good used condition and is ready to take its place in your collection or even ready to take fishing– once you put some line on it of course! The reel is in good shape mechanically. The bail cocks and trips correctly and with authority; the click. Anti-reverse system, and drag system are working and it feels good and solid. It’s set up for right hand retrieve, but can be reversed. It might like a minute with a soft cloth and a drop of oil, but it’s running well the way it is. Cosmetically there are a few signs of use. But there are no missing, broken, or replaced screws or parts and it’s a good example of this model. I wouldn’t hesitate to have it in my collection! For some reason the camera flash shifted the color a little. So I’ve included a ... moreshot without it. I had to use the flash, though, to show some of the details. This reel would make a nice display piece with other period gear. A great addition to your collection, or of course you could turn a couple of heads and just fish it. Estate found and offered for the serious collector amusement. So whether you fish or bid have fun with this great vintage fishing reel! This vintage reel reminds me of one my adapted dad bought at the Army PX in West Germany in 1970, but I'm inclined to believe it might be a couple of decades older. The body sports the"Quick FINESSA" name on one side and the jumping fish logo on the other. Hardware looks to be a mix of Chrome and stainless and the real also features the original crinkle finish paint and black Bakelite knob. The crank housing cover plate is marked"DAM" Western Berlin" and looks like the reel can be made reversible by swapping the plates from side to side. The under-side bottom of the T-mount is marked"MADE IN" WEST GERMANY" This is a uniquely made reel that has the maroon drag adjustment ... moreknob on the end of the reel spool. And around the spool face is embossed the numbers 1-12 for precision tensioning of the spool. There is a lever to select CW and CCW ratchet of silent free turning. This is a great reel in great looking condition that seems to be all complete and operates smoothly.

The reel is in good working condition. It spins very smoothly. The drag is smooth. The handle folds. The bail flips easily. The anti-reverse lever is in good working condition. There are some rubs and scuffs in the finish. The spool has some corrosion. This reel is not available at auction very often in this condition! VINTAGE DAM QUICK SUPER SPINNING FISHING REEL WEST BERLIN W/ Wood octagon rod
Very nice complete rod reel combo. Selling most of my collection so see my other sales. This is a DAM Berlin West Quick Super with a octagon wood rod. Each eyelet on rod has electric tape around it but I think it was just done for precaution cause they are all on very tight. Has weight and hook already on it ready to take fishing. Reel doesn't look to have been used much. I only ship in the lower 48. Reel is weighty, so 10 dollars shipping, except the west coast is 16 dollars. You won't find many of these, so don't miss out! Vintage D.A.M. Deutshe Angelgeräte Manufaktur) Quick Super Vintage Spinning Reel. This reel is made by D.A.M. Founded in 1875, which was once the leading fishing tackle manufacturer in Europe. The reel is in pretty good condition and I believe the pictures tell the story. There are a few nicks on the spool and the body but the logo and text are still in good condition. Drag system still works fine and I believe it could be swapped to a left hand retrieve if desired. Overall. A cool collectible for someone interested in well engineered fishing reels. Made in Berlin Germany. A Pre 1960 model. Some normal wear but its has a Broken Foot(SEE PIC's) so I am selling as a Parts Reel. Capacity 160 yds@12lb Weighs 11.2oz. Body of reel has normal wear and a brokrn foot. Clean legible writing and a good emblem. Spool is in good shape. Some wear for a vintage reel but good solid working reel other than a broken foot. The Super-Sized and Zoom-Able pictures are of the reel which show it quite well. The REEL INFO: DAM QUICK REELS are extremely well designed and have features that are not found on most other brands of spinning reels. Dam Quick Super Fishing Reel from West Berlin Vintage with line counter
This is a Vintage Dam Quick"SUPER" Spinning Reel. It is in great condition and works very smoothly. This is a very large reel and most likely used for salt water. There is some slight edge wear and the selector knob is missing but the control is still useable. The handle folds down for travel. This model also has a reelfoot that is removable or to replace a broken one. The reelfoot also has a nice finger hold when casting. It is a very clean and solid reel. These old steel reels really hold up to hard use. Use the zoom on the pics to see the detail better.
