There is some paint loss on the spool body but otherwise it looks great. There is a very slight witness mark where it has been mounted on a fishing pole. It appears it has been used very little. Up for sale is this' ABU SVANGSTA SWEDEN ZEBCO CARDINAL 4' spinning fishing reel. This is a vintage reel that sorry to say is missing the handle. The good news is it looks like the handle was lost before the reel was used much if at all. There are no marks on the foot where it would have been on a rod so it may have never been fished. Condition is excellent. Paint and finish are great no chips found, everything works as it should, just needs a handle. This is an old reel but in my opinion the best spinning reel ever made. Zebco Cardinal 3 Abu #750900 vintage fishing spinning reel Sweden
Very nice vintage Zebco Cardinal 3 reel in the original box. With catalog, unopened oiler packet, wrench, extra spool and box cardboard insert. This reel appears to be gently used. If you use a magnifying glass you can see very minor paint damage just above the drag knob on the right hand side. It is hardly noticeable. The drag knob and anti reverse switch appear to be slightly off white. There is a faint hint of pipe tobacco smell to the box. The"old-timer" must have enjoyed a pipe while he puttered with his tackle during the winter months. This is a solid combination for this reel. Very tough to find the complete package. For Sale: Vintage Zebco Cardinal 7 Spinning Fishing Reel Comes with original cork arbor spacer Dark Green Frame. Off-white rotor cup and Black spool. Made in Sweden Mono Line capacity: 12lb/325yds approx. Weight: 15.4 oz. approx. Serial No. 037006 marked on reel foot This reel has seen little(or no) use. Cosmetically the reel is in excellent used condition with no corrosion or pitting. There is some very minor paint wear on the reel foot. Frame and spool rim. The plastic handle has a small hairline crack which should not impact its use. Mechanically the reel is in excellent condition and everything is working properly with nice tight rotation of the cup, solid gears, a bail that snaps shut firmly and a smooth drag. It shows a little minor wear to the body and some wear(scratches/paint scrapes) to the rotating head. But definitely nothing major as can be seen. For sale. Like brand new, ABU Garcia Cardinal 155 fishing reel. This reel is for left hand retrieve only. This reel was one of my spares and it at most was used once, or maybe twice, otherwise it is like brand new with only very slight cosmetic blemishes from being in my reel box without being in it's own box. I don't have the original box. Believe it, it's like brand new and comes with 3 extra spools besides the one on the reel and all manuals. The spools are all spooled up with line but it's been on for some time, yet surprisingly, still in strong shape as I store all my line and reels in the basement of the house and away from any sunlight. The difference between a 55 and 155 model was the 55 had a reversible handle, the 155 only left hand retrieve) Good luck as this is an excellent vintage reel.
