Here is a used Mitchell 406 spinning reel for your consideration& pleasure. From my collection of over 100 Mitchell& Penn Greenie reels. I purchased this reel here on Ebay in December of 2002& it has sat in it's shipping box since then. Until now when it is once again here for sale on EBay. You will notice that this used 406 reel shows some paint loss. The chrome shows some pitting, both of which is detailed in the pics& it reels line in great& has a fairly loud clicker with a strong drag& good bale spring& to me this reel performs as it was intended. The rod I think is handcrafted with with the persons name printed on the rod(Paul) The rods lenght is 9' 1 1/4" which is built well with none of the thread loosening by the eyes. Up for bid is a Garcia Mitchell 406 High speed spinning reel in excellent or better condition. This one is easy to describe: Darn near perfect! It is blue in color and the handle has the High speed sticker on it. It is made in France and is stamped France on the reel foot and the backside of the rotor. The reel shows almost no wear in the anodizing. I can find a few small scratches and will try and capture them in pictures so please see pictures as they are part of the description. The reel turns smoothly and the bail snaps back open and closed. It is all original. This is a excellent hard to find spinning reel. This reel works as it should and will provide you with years of use but I hope you will keep it in your collection and I know it will be the one you will be most proud of. Again. Up for auction is a vintage Garcia Mitchell 406 high speed spinning reel. It is a navy blue color. It is in very good working condition. The bail arm. Drag, and anti reverse all work as they should. It retrieves nice and smoothly. Other than a few light surface scratches and scuffs(which can be seen in the pictures) the reel is in good condition. The serial number on the foot is 546332. The little red sticker on the face plate of the handle fell off. It could use a cleaning, but I always leave that up to the buyer. Please feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking.
