Up for auction is a Rare RU Mer 46 spinning reel made in France. The RU reels were made from the mid 40s to the mid 80s. This particular model was made starting in 1946. And it is the first model introduced by the manufacturer. It has a one piece handle with a knurled wood knob. The reel is in very good condition both in appearance and mechanically. It shows some minor paint loss and the chrome parts show minimal oxidation. Mechanically it is very good as well, reeling smoothly with a strong click, and bail spring but the anti reverse is not functional. Included with this reel is an extra spool. Overall a very nice find for a reel of its age. I'll be liquidating my collection of mostly French and Italian reels over the next few months so you might want to bookmark my address. Not sure of condition but all appear fine in proper working order. Not sure what spool/s is compatible with what reel if any.it didn't seem like they would fit? This is a very nice Garcia Mitchell 300 spinning reel. With plastic bow, extra spool and manual. The reel is stamped Garcia Mitchell, 300, Made in France and heel is stamped 5, 842398. Measures approx. 5 5/8" long. 4 1/4" tall and 2 1/2" spool cover diameter. This reel is in very good condition and looks like it's had very little use and reel is in very good working condition and the anti-reverse works. I'll let the photos tell the rest.

This is a older Mitchell 300 spinning reel with box. Extra unused spool and some paper work. The reel is stamped Mitchell, 300 and on the right side of reel it is stamped Made in France and 1460790. Measures approx. 5 1/4" long. 4 1/4" tall and 2 7/16" spool cover diameter. This reel is in good to very good condition and has some scratches and wear on spool cover and upper edge on top back of body shows paint wear and reel in in very good operating condition and the anti-reverse works and bail trip good. the box is in good condition and shows wear(see photos) I'll let the photos tell the rest.
