This vintage rod is in very good to excellent condition. Weight of the rod is 3 7/8 ounces. The serial number on the rod is G 161629. The reel seat is gold anodized aluminum. In addition the cork grip has two sliding metal rings for mounting a spinning reel. This classic rod has Fenwick's Feralite ferrules. Everything is in excellent working order. Fenwick Fiberglass Fly Rod Model FF-858 This is great used fly rod that is 8'6" and built for an 8 weight line. It is a 2 piece rod. Rod is in great condition overall with some light dings on the metal reel seat and very light scratches on the blank but they do not effect the action or performance of the rod. It is a K serial number which would date the rod to 1971-1973 time period. The tube and sock is included in the auction but it's not original. The tube was market FF 85 so it's for a different rod but still an FF series Fenwick tube and sock. You won't be disappointed with this fine fiberglass fly rod. I have several other FF series rods but don't really have a use for this particular model so I'm offering it for sale.

Up for auction. Is a Fenwick FF806 6wt 2 piece fly rod that is in excellent condition.You won't find many like this. It has a desirable early serial number as seen in second photo-K275208. The original rod tube is in fantastic shape as is the Fenwick plaid rod sock the company is known for using with their earlier Feralite models. The 8 foot FF806 is one of Fenwick's most versatile fiberglass rods. It is good in close, but an able caster can throw at least 70 feet of line. It handles dries, nymphs and streamers equally well and is highly accurate at distance. This rod is pristine except for soiling of the grip which adds to the character of the rod. It has a ton of life left in it and will provide someone with many years of fishing enjoyment. The rod will be packed extremely well and I ship very quickly once funds are received. Beautiful Fenwick HMG GFF755 fly rod in the very desirable 7 1/2 foot for 5 weight line- has the beautiful reddish copper wraps as seen in the photos. Rod has been lightly fished and is in very good condition. Aluminum rod tube shows wear and age with one small dent and numerous marks and scratches- still very serviceable. Vintage Fenwick Fly Fishing Reel 7' 3" Fiberglass Rod
Vintage Fenwick fly rod and reel. Clicker works fine. Reel Measures 3" diameter. Rod is fiberglass. 7'3" I don't know the line weight it is tested for. There is a sticker on the handle, but it is too faded to read anymore. The very top of the hollow rod is chipped just a little, where it goes into the tip part of the rod, but it still functions fine. There are some scratches on the metal below the reel.

The hand lettering was started in the late 50s, then Fenwick started in the A thru Z alphabet for the year rod was made, letter A was 1960-1961, B-1962-1963 and so on. This is a HMG GRAPHITE FENWICK GFF 906 Fly Fishing Rod in SUPER NICE CONDITION- you can slightly tell it has been used some with the biggest indication being a little staining on the cork handle. It is made in the USA. It comes with tube as shown(looks to be lined on the outside with leather. But I am not an expert so I can’t say positively that it is leather, but looks to be leather to me) Also comes with a nylon sleeve as shown. The tube shows a mark or two, but this is only cosmetic and nothing of any concern. Also, the ends of the tube have had scotch tape on them for some reason, but I would not know why as there doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with the ends of the tube. This rod is designed for AFTMA LINE NO. 6 and is 9 Ft. long and weighs a mere 3 and 3/4 ounces. Vintage Fenwick FF 79 8' fly rod fishing pole
