This is a Vintage Sage GFL 896 RP Graphite 11 Fly Rod in excellent condition. It includes the original rod sack and tube. I bought this rod new from Mickey Powell at Buz’s Fly Shop in Visalia. Ca. many years ago. It is one of seven superb fly rods that I own. It is 9’6” in length and weighs 4 7/8 ozs. It was made to throw a#8 fly line however, I really like the way it handles a#9 wf taper. This was my gamer for chasing steelhead on the North Fork Umpqua River and it is still in absolutely first class condition.I will include a Cortland 444sl wf9 floating rocket taper and an SA ultra 3 wf9 floating/sinking steelhead 1V taper.

Sage VT2 Spey Rod
This is a Sage VT2 8139-4(8 wt. 13' 9" 4 piece) Spey Rod in pristine condition. I purchased this rod from the Leland upgrade program and have not used it once(check out my brand new reel, spare spool and spooled lines for this rod also for sale) If you know about the Leland upgrade program you know that the products sold are like new, at least that has been my experience. If this rod was used before I purchased it I can't tell where it was. The reel seat doesn't look like it had a reel on it. I suspect it was a store display. In addition, everything I sell(just a fisherman, not a professional seller) is in excellent condition.

Sage XP 5 wt Travel Rod
This is a Sage XP 590-4(5 wt. 9' 4 piece) travel rod with a blue cordura rod/reel case. If you know or have heard of XP's you know how well they cast, if you like tight loops. This is a custom made rod, but of course with a Sage blank and according to Sage specifications so it looks just like a production rod, but with an beautiful upgraded reel seat. The cork is pristine. The rod and reel seat show virtually no wear because I had a reel on it I believe no more than 5-6 times. I am an even rod number fisherman and this is the only odd wt I have(check out the Ross Evolution reel with line I am also selling)

SAGE Launch 690-4 9' 6wt Fly Fishing Rod. Used Sage fly rod with lots of fish catching mojo. I've used this rod for the last few summers and its a great streamer and large dry fly stick. The cork is soiled but not damaged. The rod has some wear on the ferrules and 2 scratches on the 2nd section as shown in the pictures.
