This is a barely used Lamson 3 reel with a 9-foot. 4-piece pack rod and a Wave case. I bought this outfit for back-country trips chasing steelhead and salmon in Upstate New York and Ontario, Canada, and for hike-in trips for trout out west. It was used for less than 10 trips. I tucked the outfit in a closet last time I used it, about 15 years ago, and just discovered it while cleaning things out for a cross-country move. The reel seems smooth and was stored with the drag at the lowest setting. The graphite pack rod doesn't have any markings, but as I recall it is a 6-7 weight and came from either Cabelas, LL Bean, or Orvis. It has a good action, casts like a 6-7 weight, and while I would recommend replacing the line, it seems like it would still be usable. This is a near mint condition Lamson LP 2 fly reel spool and the protective bag. There is no sign it was ever used. The rim has no use marks on it. The only flaw in the spool is that there is a small part of the lettering on the L of the spool release cover that is missing. Please note that the photos were taken in macro mode. Only fished twice. Very nice Lamson Konic 2 Fly reel. with a very good condition $75 Rio Indicator WF-6-F line. Has some rubs on the frame and spool that cannot be seen in pics. It's not mint but it is exceptionally clean. This reel is 100% mechanically correct. The disc drag is super strong and smooth. Cast aluminum. No bag or case. Set for right hand retreive but you can easily convert it to left hand retreive.

We are offering for auction a Lamson retail/cashering money trolley. Which was part of a pulley system used in department stores to centralize cashering to one person. Salespeople would clip the sales ticket(and any checks or paper money) to the trolley and coins in the cup, then send it down the overhead wire system to the central register for the cashier to complete with the customer. This item dates from the late nineteenth century to the early turn of the century This piece is made from cast iron that has been given a copper/bronzed finish and a wooden coin cup. All functions and parts appear to be present. And the spring is fully intact. The trolley is in good condition and appears fully functional. There is wear and patina from age and use. 2 old 2" diameter pneumatic carrier tubes from an old message system. One is marked Diebold Lamson and the other is unmarked and could have been made by Grover. One looks virtually unused with very clear plastic. They are both complete with snap closures. Materials are steel. Brass, leather, rubber, clear plastic and felt. Usable for storage or just as decorative objects. I think these are 1950's or 60's era even though they use the antique narrow gauge transmitting tubes that go back to to the 1920's or before. Patent Papers & Cabinet Cards Odd Bicycle Replacement 1895 Lamson Invention
This auction is for documentation of an interesting invention by a Wm. F. Lamson. It is a type of transportation devices that has one large outer wheel and a bicycle type assembly in the middle. The cabinet cards show what a one person and a two person model would look like. I looked up approved patents for William F. Lamson. And found some, but nothing for this type of machine. The cabinet cards were created by E.A. Lynn of Tacoma Washington. There is a hand written document about the claim from Edward C. Russel of Helena Montana. This is a very unique item. It has no chips. Cracks or missing paint. I don't believe the company is currently in operation. I do know that George B. Lamson is an officer at the company. The Penguin stands 14" tall and 6" wide and weighs 3 lbs. 12 oz. Due to its fragile nature, I prefer not to ship out of the U.S.A. Someone told me this is actually a toilet brush holder? Thank you

Used in excellent condition- Lamson Velocity 3.5x reel with spare spool. Lamson reels are tough and this reel shows no signs of having been used. This reel was used and maintained for one season of fishing. I used it on a 9wt. But would work equally well on a 10wt. The reel retailed for $319 and the spool for $145. Please Note* I removed the plastic drag clicker.
