Though used. You will be hard pressed to tell. It has been carefully maintained. There are no blemishes, or scratches. It comes with the original pouch, but I removed the name plate that has my name on it. I am selling this reel for the hard to defend reason that I have wanted a new black QC. Functionally, this one is as good, I'm sure, though not the latest model. An astute buyer will be well aware of the price of the latest model Everglades reels. Please see pics. However, this is a workhorse of a reel and is mechanically excellent. Included is the original box with original reel pouch. Pouch is in excellent condition. Box nearly so. Also included is backing and a fly line. I don't know what weight the fly line is. Probably an 8 floating. Instructions/parts list sheet also included. I am not sure but I believe this reel is currently around $500 new. I am not sure how old this is but the serial number is U469. Anti-reverse means the handle does not spin when a fish is taking out line. With most fly reels. I am not all that excited about selling this reel. I have three others. Two left hand and one right hand retrieve billy pate salmon reels in anti reverse. I am finding that I do not need a second right hand retrieve reel for what I do. I would like to just keep the reel because its a great reel but I can't reason it, its got to go. This is a great reel. It is in great shape. The reel has minor scuffs on the bottom of the gold part of the reel. Its four years old and has some natural wear on the out side of it as well. It is minor. Its in perfect working order. When it was used, it was always washed, dried, and cared for after every use. Up for sale is a Tibor Everglades fly reel with 2 extra spools and RIO versitip line. I got this off a friend and he told me what the spools were lined with. Two of the spools have the tips on them. Tibor Gulfstream Saltwater Fly Reel
This is a used Tibor Gulfstream which has been fished and has the honorable scars to prove it. There are the minor scratches and dings which a reel acquires while riding in a panga or flats skiff. But nothing which affects normal functioning. Purely cosmetic. I tried my best to show them in the pics, with the most noticeable scratch on the back plate at about 7 o'clock. Top and bottom views show no marks whatsoever The reel has always been cared for and rinsed with fresh water after use. It was recently inspected by the Tibor factory, which installed a new cork and ceramic drag plate, and dogs, and pronounced the reel"fit for full duty" This Gulfstream is ready to continue taking on anything you care to pursue with fly tackle.
