Great condition islander reel MR2 - Salmon Mooching fly Reel
This is a barely used perfect condition MR2-salmon mooching reel. I received it as a birthday present a year ago but I never get out on a boat to use it and could put the money toward something better. This reel has no major cosmetic damage and works perfectly. It has caught me some nice salmon and lingcod in Canada and would be a great reel for anyone doing jigging or trolling.

Lot of 13 Bass Pro Shops Hobbs Creek fly fishing rod and reel cases. Approximate dimensions are 28.5" long with a 2.5" diameter. These are all from a lot of returned merchandise from Bass Pro Shops. Most show very little wear and I tested the zippers and all work smoothly. One has the name Mike written on it in Sharpie and two have what looks like coffee stains. Two or three more have some dirt on them. I believe that these were part of a package sold with a rod and when the rod broke. The customer returned the rod and the case. Just my best guess. These items are sold AS IS, please look carefully at pictures and ask questions if necessary. These are very nice embroidered cases.

This has been a great reel and has caught a few tarpon! it comes spooled with 10wt WF floating Rio saltwater line and 250yds of 30lb Dacron backing. I believe I purchased the reel new in 2009 and it has seen rather limited action. It does show some normal wear as shown in the pictures but over all is in great shape and is really itching to get back on the water. Vintage Hardy Bros. fly reel "Perfect" model
Vintage used Hardy Bros. Ltd fly reel. This reel was made in Alnwick England and is Hardy Bros. Ltd 3 1/8" The'Perfect' flyreel. Patent numbers stamped on the side read: 24245&9261. It also has stamped Duplicated Mark II. The zippered padded case it comes with was made by H J Collins Mfg. Co. As near as we can tell this reel is right hand retrieve. Research found extra reels available. This reel comes apart by holding the inner reel while turning the handle counter clock wise. Once you take the reel apart you can see the small ball bearings in the center that give this such a smooth reeling motion. We also ran a small test on the crossbars to make sure they weren't nicked or worn and would cut away at your line. By running yarn across both sides of each crossbar we were able to determine there appear to be no burs on ... morewhich to cut your fly line. Classic Sage 106M fly reel - excellent used condition - with backing
Up for bid is(1) Sage fly reel. Model 106M, in excellent used condition. I have had reel since new, acquired around 1994, and reel has been taken care of and used sparingly on the North Umpqua River. There is 30lb backing presently on reel, and probably should have 20lb backing instead. I got this reel when I was first learning to fly fish, and I probably invisioned larger fish than I actually ever caught. Reel is 3 5/8" outside diameter. This exceptionally made. Yet simple reel was made in Redditch, England for Sage by J.W. Young Company, and uses a click type drag system that can be converted to right or left handed retrieve. I fished it with WF-6F line on my Sage rod, but upgraded to newer reel after learning to fly fish. I sometimes question why I ever quit using this reel because some of the more expensive reels sold today are more ... moretrouble and less efficient than this simple reel.
