The side plate on the old fly reel is marked Atlas Portage, Trade Mark with a etched picture of a man caring a canoe on his back in the sun set. This old reel came out of an older tackle box and this it is a old reel but no sure of the age. The old reel foot is marked 40. The old reel handle is a counter balance type vintage reel handle and everything appears to be in good working order but have not fished it. Vintage Ocean City 76& Ryobi 355 MG Super Light Magnesium FOR MINOR REPAIR or PARTS. Auction is for 2 vintage fly reels that need a small amount of work. But otherwise are pretty functional as-is. The Ocean City 76 is in good cosmetic shape overall, with just some light scuffing and scratches around the edges. It is free of rust and pitting. The functional issue with this one is the clicker does not work. The Ryobi 355 MG is a nice spinner on a lightweight magnesium body. It too is in good cosmetic shape. The issue with this one is the adjustment knob(drag? below the label has come loose, and looks like someone tried to glue it down before. Rest of the body and spool are in very good shape as shown in photos. These should make great project reels or even parts backups if you collect fly fishing reels. This is an auction for two vintage fly fishing reels. They are both the same model. They both say trout Tahoe made in san jose. One still turns and clicks as you turn the reel and the other is harder to turn and doesn't click. Probably just needs to be taken apart and cleaned but I considered these more of a show piece or decoration so I didn't need them to function. They look really cool and would make a great aside to a fly fishing cabin or as a gift to a fly fisherman.

Two (2) Vintage, Unknown Antique SKELETON FLY FISHING REELS, Both Made in USA
For sale are two Vintage/Antique Skeleton Fly Reels. I'm unsure as to the maker. But I suspect some of you guys might know! The only markings I could find were"Made in USA" which is found on the foot of each reel. Both are about 2 5/8 inch in diameter. And both look pretty much identical except that the pillars on one of them are bent inward(photo 4) Click mechanism works nice on one, but not quite the same on the other. But I'm not sure if that's the way it's supposed to work or not. These reels were owned by my grandparents I believe, so I'm thinking they're pre-40's at least. There isn't that much rust, really, considering how old these reels must be. Let me know if you have any questions at all. Or need more info. Vintage Pflueger Fly Reel Salmon Trout Fly Fishing Reels No. 1558 Heavy Duty
Up for bidding is a Pflueger Sal-Trout Model 1558. They made two models. This reel is the more valuable heavy duty model. The drag and clicker are in excellent working condition. There is no rust. The reel has very nice patina. This gives it a great feel of it's past. If you don't have a large salmon reel in your collection here is your chance. You will be really happy with the look. Feel and excellent working condition. The reel came from a large collection of reels and lures I bought here in Florida. I rely totally on reference material and basic knowledge on how to use a reel.
