The water trunks are Size 9 and I'm not sure if they leak or not they didnt 15 years ago but can't be certain now. The trunks so discoloration and the strap for the shoulders are frayed a bit.The two reels are Martins the loner pole 115 inches long is a Browning and the shorter pole is a Kunnan Spiraltech. All items so wear and scuffs no breaks on poles all hooks are firm and Intact. These items have all been stored in a smoke free safe climate temp for the past 15+ years. A very nice set. 3 fly fishing reels PERRINE - BFR RIM FLY - SHAKESPEAR 7595
Up for auction is 3 fly fishing reels. The frist is a PERRINE AUTOMATIC FLY REEL NO 57 the condition of the case is good. Only normal wear. When winding the spring it feels like it slips a little at times and the release is a little stiff but does work no string. The next reel is a BFR RinFly 2075, this reel looks fairly new and does have fly string on it. I have no ideal how it is supose to work but does wind up when turning the wheel. The next reel is a SHAKESPEAR PURIST 7595 does have fly fishing string on it, clicks when winding but I have no ideal how this reel works. Bought at auction. These may work I just don't know. Vintage Fly Fishing Tying Tackle Box w/ Herter’s Vise. 3 Reels, Lines, Necks This is a vintage box that can’t quite decide what it is. It’s chock full of stuff. But is it a fly tying kit or a fly fishing tackle box? It has a nice old Herter’s vise. Vintage bobbins, a vintage hackle guard, a#3 grizzly hackle half neck, a couple of brown India necks, and miscellaneous materials, threads, etc. but it also has 3 fly reels, a couple of fly lines, tippet material, line cleaner, and more. The automatic fly reel is a Shakespeare 1845 Model GE that seems to be working just fine with a strong spring. The second reel is a vintage Bakelite L.L. Bean. I’ve actually never seen this model! It has a really nice mottling of red in the brown Bakelite and the only markings are“L.L. Bean Inc. and“Freeport. ME. Unfortunately it looks like it may have been dropped ... moreas a small part of one rim is missing and there’s a crack in the back plate. HOWEVER, as I said, I’ve never seen this one and can’t find it anywhere, so I think it’s probably worth having in your collection. The last reel is metal and in good shape. There aren’t any markings on it I can find. But it seems perfectly serviceable and ready to either take fishing or as spooling reel as you clean a line. I’m not sure what the weights the line(s) are. They may be a shooting head and running line. But you’ll have to decide. Please see the pictures for a more complete description and in case I’ve missed or forgotten to mention something. Also. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions or for more pictures if you can’t see something. I’m sure that I haven’t included all the information you’d like to have, but am happy to help, and perhaps not the best photographer. Antique / Vintage Fishing Lures Tackle Boxes Fly / Crank Baits Reels Plugs
This is a fisherman's dream. A real treasure hunt of vintage tackle boxes. Fishing lures, flies, spin baits and even a couple of reels and they are all original. Some of the flies and poppers go back to the early 1900's. There are probably some very collectible lures and crank baits and other items in here including the Camillus MC-1 parachute/ Survival knife which is an spring-opener and doesn't appear to have ever been used. It springs open with a nice strong snap and the blade locks tight. The main tackle box is an hammered aluminum. 7 shelf UMCO 1000 AS. There are also two smaller boxes, a Model 60 with the old Minneapolis lable and a double-sided Model P-9. There are also two classic old reels included. The spinning reel is an old Pflueger Medalist and the crank reel is an old Catalina"Free Spool" with a leather ... moremanual drag and a regular drag setting. The last item placed in the tackle box before it was closed back in the early 1990's seems to be the Camillus MC-1 parachute/ survival knife. It is in near mint condition and has the spring loaded assist and the shroud blade. It appears as never used and works perfectly. Please see my other unique auctions. Up for auction today is a lot of 3 Daiwa fly fishing reels and 3 spools. There is one SF 706 reel and 2 SF 708 reels. One of the SF 708 reels has a lot of corrosion and wear on it(see the bottom left-hand corner of the picture) One of the reels has tape on the foot with the weight of the line that is currently on it. The spools all have labels. Stickers, or writing in sharpie on the back saying what weight of line is on them. Everything is in very good condition, overall. Today we are offering a lot of 4 possibly vintage reels. Three of them are definitely made by Pflueger. There is one Pflueger Medalist reel which has'Made In USA' faintly stamped on the center boss. There is one Pflueger Progress reel which has'80' stamped on the foot and has the bulldog trademark symbol on it. There is one Pflueger Sal-Trout 1554 reel with has'Made In U.S.A. stamped on it. 40' is written on its foot in sharpie. Lastly there is one small reel which does not have any brand stamped on it. But does have'Made In USA' stamped on the foot underneath some sticker residue. The reels will all have some degree of rubs, wear, and grime on them from being used, but they are in good condition, overall.
