3) Vintage Fly fishing reels(1) Pflueger No 1774 USA. the other two reels I do not know the brand. The Smaller black reel on the bottom is marked Japn b with some other letters but I cannot tell. The red reel as I can read is it say Made in U.S.A. Then you have the Pflueger No. 1774. All the reels seem to work fine. The small red reel is heavily rusted with loss of paint but its seems solid not brittle. The smaller black seems fine. Could use some cleaning and the Pflueger loos to appear to have some green corrosion on it like oxidation but also seems to work fine. they all have some discoloration. Surface marks and scratches. All parts function on all the reels. They all seem to reel ok. theres reels are not mint obviously. I did my best to describe each one.

My grandson wanted to go fishing this summer so my mother pulled out her fathers tackle box that no one had seen since the 1950's. He died in the 1950's after fishing only a few times and the box had been untouched for decades. I pulled one reel out and listed it separately. The tackle box weighs over 12 pounds because of all the stuff inside.It is about 19" X 7" X 7" Much of the tackle looks never used. Selling 4 nice vintage fishing reels. First is a very large vintage Fly Fishing reel. this is a Olympic Reel. First one I've ever seen that says is an Olympic Reel with the Olympic circle logos on it. Has a circle logo that has the vintage Olympic circle logos and a bunch of Japanese writing below it in the circle. Outside the circle reads; Olympic Reel Ueno Seiko Co. Patent. Is another section off to the side that says; 120mm z-7 Safe. Has the old thick black fishing line still on it, there are soft rubber over metal handles for turning and has a Stop lever to prevent backward turning. Still seems to work great and is a nice aluminum type large fishing reel that is about 4 1/2 inches in diameter. Could be a rare reel with the olympic trademark. Also selling a Shakespeare Service reel, really nice shape, just needs a cleaning. Seems to ... morework fine, nice handles and full of the old black fishing line. Is a Horrocks Ibbotson co. Vintage Fishing Reels Lot of 4,A Zebco 66 And 3 FLy Reels
Honestly I really know nothing about these. Other than they are old. THe Zebco has Zebco 66 on the reel. Seems to work ok. The other 3 are fly Fishing reels. I do not know what kind or names. They have Japan on the Bar that fits to the pole. They are just as I found them. I have not cleaned or polished. THey have some old line on them. The Zebco reel has some line also. Never could seem to figure out how to get to it) They all turn and reel when cranked. But as you can see they have rust and patina from aging. Perfect they are not. The one reel with all the holes in it clicks as you turn the crank. The other one does not click but cranks fine. They all have battle scars from use.

VINTAGE SOUTH BEND PENN NO. 77 FISHING REELS FINALIST 1122 FLY CASTING ANGLERS
I found these two reels at a barn sale in Lebanon. NJ. The were with some other fishing tackle that looked like hadn't been used in years. There are in good working condition and really have the vintage look going for them. Both have a small bit of tape adhesive on them and some very mild rust. Check out the photos well and see for yourself for their visual appeal. The South Bend Finalist maroon color has flaked off in some areas. The reel is all metal except for the plastic handle and center logo seal. The Penn reel is mostly made of plastic with some metal parts as indicated by the photos. Vintage Meisselback style fly reels fishing casting reel
Up for auction is a recent estate find. There are 3 reels included in this lot. All are approximately 2 7/8" in diameter and 1 1/4" width.Two of the reels( white handle& black handle reels) have Made In USA in the reels foot.There are not other markings that I can see on the reels.They are all old and have been used but the spools revolve and the clickers work on all three reels. The one reel with the black handle that came in a box appears to be brass under the black paint. Nice small collection of reels for display! Good luck bidding on the group and the box is included. 2 Vintage Pflueger Fly Fishing Reels: Medalist No.1495 & Progress No.1774
This auction is for a lot of 2 Vintage Pflueger fly fishing reels: a Medalist No.1495 and a Progress No.1774. Both reels are fully functional and in good condition. The Medalist is 4" in diameter. Has an aluminum alloy spool and frame, push button quick release spool, external drag system, and convertible left/right retrieve. It has some normal wear for something almost 75 years old; scuffing, scratches, and some pitting, but works well. The Progress is 3" in diameter, has an aluminum spool, and a gunmetal finish over a brass frame. The gunmetal finish is in great shape with very little sign of wear, and the reel works great. These reels are both highly collectible. I generally ship the day after payment is received. Thanks for viewing.
