Vintage Fly fishing Reels (4) Misselbach, Firestone, Pflueger + LINES silk?
Four reels and lines. 1. Unmarked chrome skeleton reel with what looks to be a silk line and backing. I burned the tip of the line and it does not ball up. But buy the lot as if it is not silk and this could be a bonus. 2.Pflueger 1774 reel with what was marked with a 5 level silk line. This seems to ball up at the end of the line when I light it. It says silk. But I do not believe it is. Again buy it as if it is not silk. 3. A.F. Misselbach Rainbow reel. Nice small reel for midge rod with a good DT4 line and backing. VINTAGE FISHING REELS FLY FISHING CASTING SWEDEN RED GARCIA TWO HAVE LINES
These are three fishing reels that I found recently at two estate sales. The red one was found separately than the other two that are probably older. Possibly from the 1950s. The red Garcia"Abu-matic 60" is in great condition with some wear(black paint chipping) where the red cover meets the main unit. It has black thread-like line in it(I do not fish) The black reel with than tan/brown fishing line. I assume, is for fly fishing- not sure of this though. The line is thicker and feels as though it has a fine wax coat on it. The smaller silver reel has no line and the only telling description about this reel is that it clicks when you turn the knob. 2 VINTAGE FISHING ROD REELS~ SHAKESPEARE INTRINSIC+PENN~ CASTING?,FLY?,SPINNING?
These are 2 vintage fishing reels from an estate sale that are being sold as is. We don't really know much about them. Or whether they're for spinning, casting, or fly, so hopefully the photos and related info will help any potential bidders make a determination. There doesn't appear to be any damage on them, other than some tarnish spots on both. Both also have string in them that may no longer be good. Included are: ~ Shakespeare Intrinsic No. 1903 Model FE- green reel- metal alloy construction- stamped'Made In USA' under the base mount- tarnish spots on several parts of the reel. ~ Penn No. 85. Made In USA- black/dark brown reel- plastic& metal construction- stamped'250 yds' under the base mount- tarnish spots on several parts of the reel- the word'Pal' is scribed in to the plastic on top of the ... morereel as seen in photo 7.

Lot 4 fishing reels cardinal diawa zebco old skeleton fly casting tackle spin
You are bidding on a lot of 4 fishing reels in good condition. Includes a cardinal 563. A daiwa 403, a zebco 202 thumb caster and an old skeleton style fly reel that has no marking. They all work but could use a good cleaning and re line. The Garcia reel has a problem with the bail not closing after casting, I’m not sure what is wrong but clip does not release- maybe it could be fixed I’m not sure. These have been used and have some scuffs and scratches but no major damage. They would be nice for use, collector or good for decoration in your den or hunting room. M.A. SHIPLEY fly reel and 2 Penn 209 & 500 FISHING REELS all 3 are VINTAGE!
Here is a lot of 3 Vintage reels and all 3 are from an estate! The first is an MA Shipley fly reel and it winds nicely. It does have 4 chips to the plastic which will need to be repaired. The Penn reels both work fine. The first is a Penn 209 Level Wind and the second is a Penn 500 Jig-Master. All are vintage and could use a cleaning! Do not miss out. Original. They work. 1495 has a B on bottom of foot and has some wear/paint loss. The other one say made in USA on foot and has some light wear. Spool looks nice. They will need new line.
