This auction is for(20) Bass Pro Shops White River Hobbs Creek fly fishing rods. They all have tips that are broken. Very easy to retip these and resell or fish with them. Some of the rods appear used. Some appear unused and still have the original plastic on the handle. I pieced these together from a huge amount of parts that I have, so I am not 100% certain that all of the parts are pieced together correctly. I think that maybe 2 or 3 of the rods have mismatched parts. 19 of the rods have tips that are broken off in the top section. The 20th rod is missing the entire top section. This is the same reel as the Battenkill Mid Arbor II. It was called the Pro Guide in its first year or two of production, before switching to the Battenkill name. The reel is machined from bar-stock aluminum, with a hard anodized finish. It is a mid-arbor design, with a center line, glass composite disc drag system. The reel is a perfect size for use with 3 and 4 weight lines. The reel has seen some use. But remains in good condition. There are no issues with the mechanical condition, it works great. I am selling an unusual pair of custom made 9’ 2 piece, 4/5 wt. fly fishing rods. The rods came from the estate of a noted Northern California fly fisherman. Rod builder and instructor on Henry’s Fork, who, I am told, built the rods. They are built on Loomis IMX blanks with cork reel seats and up-locking metal nuts. The rods are not perfectly matching but are very close. With each having different colored guide wrappings. One rod will fish a 4 wt and the pother a 5 wt. The nearly new condition and quality of the rods has been verified by a local. Well known author and outdoor writer. To buy these rods from the factory today would be very expensive so I think I have them priced fairly at $299 for the pair. They will be shipped in a PVC tube to ensure safe delivery. All appear to have never been used as you can see the paper wrapper is still on the cork handles. Wood cases are pretty fragile and the snaps on the larger on are broke.
