This is a group of two Eagle Claw Wright& McGill Trailmaster fishing rods. The first is a 7 1/2 foot M4TMU for line size 7. In very nice shape. Has the cover and case. The metal case has a few dings, but the rod has no problems. The other is a 4TMU, 7 1/2 foot for line size 7. All the pieces are there and fits perfect, but the cover is torn at the bottom, and the varnish seems to be flaking. You get both for $91.00, and free P&H to the US.

So I would guess they are over 60 years old as he was 93! They all have a bag. But the canvas is in poor condition as you can see, some have been nibbled by something! The only names I can see are one rod which has Sealey Octopus on it. One which has Ebisu, I've had a look for other names but can't see any I don't know if they are complete. Broken or even useable, but they were all neatly stored in their bags and look complete? some of the metal bits are rusty I would think they would be ideal for an enthusiast who wants to restore them or a dealer in fishing tackle who might like to do them up or use them for spares. Vintage Fly Rods Heddon Fly Rod #8157 2 Piece Old Used Fishing Tackle Bass Trout
Here's an old/ used Heddon Fly Rod. Here's some details: The rod has a cork handle with it's original price sticker still on it. But most of the type has rubbed off- the original price was $15 dollars. It has a metal reel seat with a lock nut that threads just fine and the rod is believed to be made of fiberglass. Each section has been photographed to give you the best details of the rod. The rod is marked 8 1/2' but is only 8' when put together- based on the tip guide not having been finished with thread, it's believed to been repaired. It is only a two piece rod- the handle end measures 51 1/2" inches and has 2 line guides, while the tip section measures 44 7/8" inches and has 5 line guides. It comes with it's cloth sock, which has some loose stitches. The cardboard tube is not believed to be the original ... moretube and has no cap and is warped from leaning in a corner of a closet. Vintage Lot of 3 Fishing Poles Rods Retractable Steel Fly Rod Cane Pole. These rods are all in good vintage condition. Some of the poles have a few marks and rust on them from previous use. The first fishing pole pictured extends to be much long. It says on it"Bristol" Model 9 on it. It measures 39 1/4" from one end to the other when it is not extended. The next item pictured is a cane pole. There is three sections to it. No names or markings on it either. The three sections measure 51 1/4" 48 1/2" and 48 1/4" long from one end to the other. The last fishing pole pictured has a reel on it. The reel says Minuteman 1810. The fishing pole comes apart in one spot to be smaller for storage. It measures 71" long from one end to the other. This rod was owned by Hugh Koontz. Passed away less than a year ago. The rod was bought. If I recall correctly, around a year before he passed away. I do not know a lot of the specifics about it, nor do I know much about fly rods in general. What I can say is that. Outside of some visible but slight wear on the grip, the rod seems to be in excellent condition. I do not see any scratches or dings anywhere on it. The words"Sierra Fly Rods 7 1/2' 6 Wt. can be found on it, though I am uncertain about the Sierra-I assume that to merely be a odd signature flourish near the end of the word. She mourned that her stock items were not being sold-she saw her role on eBay as much as a vocation as any other role. To provide inexpensive and beautiful religious items to people who would have a hard time affording them otherwise. Given this. Lot of 3 Bass Pro Shops White River Classic fly fishing rods - 6'3", 8'6", 10'
This auction is for(3) Bass Pro Shops White River Classic fly fishing rods. Here is the deal with these rods. I have hundreds of rod sections and went through them to match them all up. I did my best. But cannot be certain that they are the correct pieces. They all fit together right, except on the 2nd rod. The first rod is Model: WR 6333 6'3" 3 line. The rod is used and the grip shows some wear. I am about 99% sure that all of the pieces are matched together properly. Rod#2: Model: WR866-4 8'6" 4 line. This one appears unused. But I am pretty sure that one of the pieces is from a different Classic rod. I think that the bottom 3 sections are correct, but the tip section slides about 6" onto the section below it. This cannot be right, I don't think. Rod is perfectly fishable, though. Rod#3: Model: WR106-4 10'0" ... more6 line. This rod also appears unused and still has the original plastic on the handle. I am about 99% sure that this rod has all 4 of the correct sections. There are a few small scratches on these blanks from previous use. Scientific Anglers MASTERY 6/7 FLY Fishing REEL. Made In ENGLAND For 6 7 WT Rods Up for sale is this gently used Scientific Anglers Mastery Series 6/7 fly reel. Including original neoprene case, paperwork, and box. The reel was made in England I believe by Hardy in about the mid to late 1990s period. It is precision machined from bar stock aluminum and hard anodized a matte black color. The reel has a strong disc drag system, and will hold 200 yds. of 20 lb. dacron backing with a WF7F line. The reel is in very nice shape. There are a couple of little finish nicks along the edge of the back plate. And anodizing flaws where the foot is attached to the frame. Otherwise the cosmetics and mechanics are excellent. The reel is spooled with backing and a Scientific Anglers Mastery Series XPS WF-6-F fly line. The line is an older model, but may still ... morehave some life left in it. Retrieve is currently left hand, but can be converted to right(instructions in the manual) With the reel comes the neoprene case, original paperwork, and box. Along with an extra spool, 2 pile-lined leather cases, and an original owner's manual. This version of the Double L was made in Argentina by STH Reels for LL Bean. The 3 7/16 inch diameter reel is machined from bar stock aluminum and hard anodized a bronze brown color, with gold reel foot and counterbalance. Actual reel weight is 5.4 oz. and Bean recommends it for 6, 7, and 8 weight lines(listed capacity is 110 yds. of 20 lb. backing with a WF7F line) It has a drum type braking system, utilizing a spring-backed teflon shoe pressing against the clutch gear, with an eccentric cam adjustment. The reel and extra spool are in nice condition. And function as they should. There is a little wear to the outer sharp edge ... moreof the frame and a spot in the line guard area. One spool has some little rim marks, while the other doesn't. The reel is set for left hand retrieve, and easily switched to right. I am selling an unusual pair of custom made 9’ 2 piece, 4/5 wt. fly fishing rods. The rods came from the estate of a noted Northern California fly fisherman. Rod builder and instructor on Henry’s Fork, who, I am told, built the rods. They are built on Loomis MIX blanks with cork reel seats and up-locking metal nuts. The rods are not perfectly matching but are very close. With each having different colored guide wrappings. The nearly new condition of the rods has been verified by a local. Well known author and outdoor writer. To buy these rods from the factory today would be very expensive so I think I have them priced fairly at $325 for the pair. Including shipping in the USA. The reel is machined from bar-stock aluminum, with a hard anodized finish(titanium shade) It is a mid-arbor design, with a center line, glass composite disc drag system. The reel is a perfect size for use with 3 and 4 weight lines. The reel is modestly used and in excellent working condition. There are some small marks along the spool rim and an area of wear along the side of the frame(see photos) It is spooled with some backing and a new looking WF3F line of unknown brand. Lot of 3 Vintage Fishing Rods - South Bend, Fly, Wooden
Three vintage rods included as described: The South Bend Rod is a 2 section Fiberglass with a cork handle and is about 7' long. I don't see any defects other than normal signs of age and use. The longest is a wooden fly fishing rod. Instead of the rod being round, it is more of a hexagonal shape. It is in 3 pieces and also has a cork handle. There is no eye at the tip of the rod. This rod is about 8 1/2 feet long The other is also a fly fishing 3 piece rod. I think that it is wooden with a cork handle. One of the metal couplings came off of the rod instead of coming apart. This one is also about 7' long. There is a canvas case for the smaller fly rod. I also have a lot of 40 lures listed if interested. Please see item condition and pictures for more details. Very easy to retip these and resell or fish with them. 5 of the rods appear used. The other 7 appear unused and still have the original plastic on the handle. I pieced these together from a huge amount of parts that I have, so I am not 100% certain that all of the parts are pieced together correctly. I've done a bunch of these, though, and usually get them right. I believe these rods sell new for about $120 apiece. One still has the $120 price tag on it.
