This set up has a reversible handle to switch from fly rod to spinning rod by just removing the handle and pulling out the butt end, then rotating the handle and replacing the butt end. This a 6 foot 9 inch rod and uses a No. 7 fly line. There are a total of 7 pieces plus the rod tube and rod sock. In my opinion this is the nicest Trailmaster M6TMU that is listed or sold recently. It is used but gently used. There is no damage to sections, ferrules, eyes, wrappings or graphics. You will find very minor, light scratches on some of the glass surfaces from use as this is a used rod. All sections fit snugly together. Comes complete with the original ... moresock and tube. LL BEAN Double L 5/6 FLY Fishing REEL w/ WF5F Line and Leather Pouch Here we have an LL Bean Double L 5/6 fly reel. With a leather pouch. The reel is machined from bar stock aluminum and deep anodized, with a Rulon disc drag. It is a standard arbor reel, with a 2 7/8 in. diameter, a weight of 4.8 oz. and is rated for 5 and 6 weight lines(capacity, as listed in their 2001 catalog when the reel was first introduced, is 55 yards of backing with a WF5F and 45 yds. with a WF6F) The reel is in pretty good condition. It works as it should. There are some marks to the finish. Notably a scuffed area on the spool rim. The reel has backing and a WF5F line of unknown make. The line shows some coil memory retention, but otherwise looks okay. I'll let you decide for yourself whether you want to use it or not. The line is spooled in left hand retrieve ... moreconfiguration, and can be converted to right hand. The zippered, leather pouch is in good shape. Though marked"Double L" the pouch is not original to the reel. It was made for an earlier version of the Bean Double L, one made in Argentina by STH. However, it serves its purpose with this reel just as well. Vintage K-Mart 55 Automatic Fly Reel w/ Beige Fly Line
Good condition Vintage K-Mart 55 Automatic Fly Reel w/ Beige Fly Line. I do not know much about reels but will try and describe it. There is a beige fly line on the reel as you see in pictures. This reel is marked K-Mart Corporation. on the bottom of the reel foot it shows.Manufactured In Japan. Troy Michigan. 48084. As you see in picture 1 it has a large wind up knob that is basically the whole side. That is the knob you turn to wind the reel spring. When you push down on the lever that sticks out from the reel the reel spool turns to wind up the line and seems to work good/smooth. As you look at the pictures you can see it does show normal wear. It does need a good cleaning and I will leave that up to you, but reel nice condition. This reel is in good condition as you can see and does seem to work good.
