Nice Sage SLT 590 Graphite IIIe #5 Line 9 Ft. Long 2 Pc. Fly Rod
Up for your consideration is this Nice Sage SLT 5 wt. 2 pc. fly rod. The rod is 2 pc and 9 ft long and is very light and weights 31/16 ounces. The rod is in great condition. It has a small scratch just above cort handle. The ferruels and guides are all in fabulous condition. It also comes with original rod metal tube. Sock and end cap. The sock is new and not original and end cap has been replaced. As you see in last picture the tube has a dent and a couple other small scratch's. A nice 5 wt. sage rod that is a top of the line rod. Some people say that is is one of the best that sage ever made. It has a nice delicate presentation and can still push them thru the wind. THANKS

Here is a used fly rod combo that I learned to fly fish with. I have 2 and I need to get rid of one to purchase a new. Shorter, small stream rod. It comes with the rod, reel, line& backing, and hard case. It is a 2 piece rod and is 5 weight. I did break the tip of this rod 2 years ago but had a local rod builder put a new tip top on. It was originally 8'6" so the last 3" are gone. I fished with this rod for 2 years after breaking and fixing it and it works well. This combo was originally around $150! This is a used fly rod and it shows. The cork handle has a couple of thin spots where your thumb makes contact with the cork. Some spots are so thin they are missing, see the photos) The hook keeper is also missing. The reel seat has some scratches and paint loss but is still fully functional. The line guides, wrappings and ferrules are in good condition but there is some staining and discoloration to the surfaces. Two are silver metal body, one with two wooden knobs and one with a black knob(missing other) they have the o ld style line on them. Have wear from age and could use a cleaning, they measure 4.75" across and 1.25" in depth. The small one in this group has a black finish on it that has finish coming off on one side, small white handle. Measures 2.75" across and 1.25" tall. A nice addition to a collection. They featured a fully adjustable disk drag, palming rim, ventilated spool, and full frame design. The C3 model is ideal for 5/6 weight lines. It holds a WF6F and approximately 150 yds of 20 lb. test backing. The weight is listed as 5.0 oz. This is a pre 1998 reel. The spool has 3 screws holding it together and the drag disk is one directional. The reel is set up for left hand wind. We are happy to convert to right hand wind for the auction winner.
