It has been used only twice and retails for $525.00 with the included Hydros WF 5wt line. It is in its original neoprene case. The Mirage II can be used for line weights from 3 to 5. The line has been thoroughly cleaned and is ready to fish! Using the same principles employed for the brakes of fighter jets. The carbon to stainless drag gives smooth, consistent, and infinitely-adjustable stopping power—from free spooling to a dead stop.This reel is in the gold color. The Hydros line is in the yellow color with white backing. It is currently set up for right hand retrieve but can easily be changed.

A vintage(1959) used Pflueger 1495 Medalist R.H. retrieve fly reel with rectangular Diamolite Line Guard, adjustable drag, dual click, and"Made in Akron O USA" stamped on reel body. Mechanically sound but with tackle box rash in original paint including scrapes, rubs, dings. and"wear" spots, especially on body edges. I've used Medalist reels for 55-years and this one still has a lot of life left in it. Included is a spare spool, most likely from the late 1930's, with an amber colored plastic handle and an aluminum spool latch cover. Here's a nice working vintage fly reel. I can find no name on it but it's a nice reel. Well made. The surface paint has scuffs and some patches of missing paint, but the metal is good, the handle is plastic and in good condition. The reel is complete and functions as it should. It has a nice loud, solid click. The reel foot is in good condition and has the marking- JAPAN- on it. The cross bars that hold the foot are corroded but it doesn't affect the reels functions. The reel measures about 3 3/4 inches across and it's not quite 1 1/2 inches wide. This reel looks like a Pflueger Medalist and may be a copy of it. The line on it mint green and is tapered line.
