I’m not sure if these came from old fly rods or casting rods. It appears that the two tip-tops that are attached to the partial blanks are a fly rod size. They are amber in color. The other tip-top and the three guides appear much more reddish in color. I don’t know who made them or the exact sizes. None are damaged from use or abuse. And all have some soil. I firmly believe that the metal areas will polish up nicely by the right person. I’ll let the photos say the rest. Items will be shipped in a box. Beautiful vintage Martin Model MG-7 Fly Fishing Reel with an extra Martin F-14 Spool. Reel is in very good condition and you can tell that it's seen some good action with water marks and a few minor scratches. No dents or gouges and everything works smoothly and flawlessly. Also it comes inside a cool glove soft leather drawstring pouch in excellent condition. Spool is also in very good condition and will come to you in it's original box. The Reel will come fully loaded with what looks to be Cortland 444 Classic Floating Fly Line(WF6F ROCKET-PEACH) but I am not positive. I am merely going by the tag attached to the inside of the leather pouch that the reel is stored in and the peach color that is associated with the 444 line. The Spool will come fully loaded with a light green line that I will assume is Cortland because of the 4 spools ... moreof line in this collection of fly fishing equipment that I am selling. 3 out of 4 were marked Courtland. Also it has the same touch and feel to it. The Cortland 444 Classic Peach has stood all the tests that generations of anglers have thrown at it and emerged as one of the finest fly lines of all time. These were bought at Gart Bros. in Denver, CO as the price tag is still on the spool box.

I am including with this rod 11 feet of 4.5 Tenkara USA Hi-Vis flurocarbon line and five 5 feet of 6# flurocarbon tippet. I am also including 6 hand tied Amano style flies. The flies are tied with Japanese Super Yamame hooks and have a silk eye and silk body with pheasant feather hackle. I'm selling this rod because I have a Tenkara USA Ayu 2 rod that I prefer. This is an 8-foot Phillipson Deluxe 2-piece fly rod that is hand-numbered P80 4-1/4 HDH straight on the rod near the handle. It comes with a screw-top metal tube with a Phillipson klabel that's in quite good condition. Rod marked Phillipson Deluxe near the handle; P80 4-1/4" HDH on the opposite side. Black tape has been added to the eye near the handle. It is different from the wrap around the other eyes. So we consider it a repair. We are leaving it as found. The repair seams sturdy. The top section seems slightly warped. This is being sold as found. It obviously has been used. The two pieces show general signs of use. But good color and patina. They fit together but quite tightly so we avoided pushing the pieces together ... morefully. We didn't force it. It may need some lubrication. We're not experts in fishing gear but have some knowledge. So be sure to ask questions. Fishing folks will know. Don't let this get away! SIZE: Total length is about 8 feet assembled. Hard to see in the pictures but it has a dark brown tinge to it. Beautiful Fly Rod! I recently bought 4 Sage fly rods, this is the second one I am listing. I aslo bought some high end reels, some Simms equipment, etc so keep an eye on my auctions. There is no sock or tube with this rod but I will either purchase a generic sock(if available) or pack the rod well to protect the rod during shipment.
