Ari T Hart one of a kind vintage fly tying vise
So here is my last and very best vise. I bought this vise from John Betts in Denver Colorado who at the time sold a great deal of Ari Hart's custom work. If my memory is correct this vise was purchased in 1988 or 89. As was related by John. Ari Hart made only 5 of these completely hand made model A vises. Only two or three of the five had this ancient Spanish Yew wood. I never tied a fly on the vise. Stored in my safe, so its in as new condition. Included are letters and directions from john, along with a Magazine article speaking to this vise. There is a high reserve on this vise. Some things are just hard to part with no matter what the final price. Good luck. Its important to me this vise finds a good home.

1960's TACK-L-TYERS Fly/Bug Tying Kit w/ Vise #B643 Fly Lures w/ Instructions
Up for bid is a Tack-L-Tyers of Evanston. IL fly tying kit#B643. It has been opened and there are some of the feathers missing but I'm not a fly fisherman so I have no clue which ones are gone. It has an instruction booklet which has the stock#m 601 on it. It also has a three sheets of fine sandpaper(120& 220 grit) Contents List: It has what looks like a vise which looks unused or at least barely used. Used spool of nylon. 5 jars of paint which all appear to be dried up or unusable. Partial bag of hooks-Opened bag with"hackles" label stapled on it-Opened bag of corks-3 unlabeled bags of feathers with to labels floating around with"Chenille" Hackles" on them. 3 Unopened bags are stapled to the bottom of the container.
