The selection includes fur pieces that have all the different lengths of hair from short hair to the center back long guard hairs. The North American beaver. Coyote and muskrat have a variety of types and textures of fur, from the soft short under fur to the longer stiff guard hair. The fur will add a soft muted color to the body of your flies. Fly Tying bench (Portable)
This is from what I can tell a very well crafted homemade portable Fly Tying Station- The tools shown in the photograph of the flytying station ARE NOT INCLUDED. They are there for the buyer to see how it can be set up only. The working surface with the legs installed is about 27" from the surface it is setting on- It is(3) legged and quite stable. The legs assemble and store inside. There is plenty of space inside the unit to store Hackle(in the lid) Thread& Wire Spools(in one of the lift out boxes that conviniently hang on the outside) a vise and associated tool can be stored in the center section and all sorts of other material will fit within this well designed& crafted unit. Quality HMH API Fly Tying Vise with clamp base. HMH A.P.I. vise. manufactured between 1981- 1994. Rotary vise manufactured by A.P.I. Cam lever says"HMH A.P.I. It is the redesigned model by HMH that has 2 set screws on the head to adjust the head angle. Has a"micro jaw" in place(this alone sells for $34.00) Not sure if the desk clamp piece is original. It has no markings on it at all. Vise is in very good condition. The head of the vise is excellent. The piece that attaches to the head to the standing rod shows some very slight wear on the finish. This item came from several large sporting goods estate s that we were able to purchase, so please check our other listings and future listings for lots of fishing. Fly fishing and fly tying items. Regal fly tying vise Vintage
Estate find vintage Regal fly vise. Vise has small chip in jaws but holds hooks firmly when inserted correctly, i tied a few size 6 wooly buggers to test and jaws hold a hook like a regal vise should. The stem is 4 1/2" in length which is suitable for a pedistal base, what you see in the pictures is what you get. Thanks for looking! I accept paypal only. Terra 8191 Rotary Fly Tying Vise
For sale is a used Terra fly tying vise. Comes with the standard C-clamp mount and also includes the optional pedestal base. Jaws are solid and holds hooks well. An ideal vise for tying larger flies for bass and saltwater. But I have tied trout flies down to size 12 with it. Selling because I have recently upgraded to a Renzetti vise.
