Peak Rotary Vice for Fly Tying in great condition. I did have the pin that holds the clamp lever in place come out and I replaced it with a heavier duty one. I also added a hook magnet to the flat base to keep hooks in place when tying several flies. I probably tied 500 flies on this vice from#18 dries to 3/0 streamers and jointed streamers. It has been an excelent vice only about a year old. Purchased new January 2012. Only selling to use money for higher priority life expenses. Written by Geoge Leonard Herter. A rather noted fisherman-author from what I gather. This is the third edition of his 416 page manual. The first edition was in 1941. The book has seen some wear. The cover is stained and scuffed and bent along the edges. But the pages are neat and clean. Thrown in are two strange little publications, Price List of Fly-Tying Materials, printed in England in 1950 and"The New Dictionary of Fly Patterns, published in 1944. The books belonged to my late fishing-fanatic uncle.
