You are bidding on/buying a barely used G.Loomis 10' 6WT. The rod has been fished maybe 8 times for a total of about 24 hours. Look at the cork handle pic and you'll see it is barely soiled. All ferrules are scratch free and the tip is original(no car doors to speak of with this rod) The Streamdance GLX 10' 6wt retails for $690.00. I'm selling it because I despise 4 piece rods and the fly rod quiver is getting a bit full these days. I used it for indicator fishing and keeping more line off the water while winter steelhead in the Great Lakes area. But being a 10 footer would also help out float tubers with it's extra length. Selling my 3 piece GLX Distance 10 foot 8 weight as I have no time to fish these days. The rod is in superb condition. The top thread on one of the two reel seat fasteners has gone which makes it a little awkward to tighten in the reel. But it still does the job once tightened! Please see pic. G LOOMIS BCR 875 GLX FISHING ROD 7'3" HEAVY CAROLINA RIG SPECIALTY ROD
G Loomis designed this rod for carolina rigging which it does great. But I personally find this rod to be the perfect moderate to heavy cover pitching rod, much lighter(5.5 ounces) than a 7 1/2 ft. rod with just as much back bone, this rod will absolutely pull fish out of the thickest cover. I bought this one as a back-up to one I already own but just haven't really used it much, excellent rod perfect anytime you need extra power. From experience, I only ship rods fed-ex, they cost a little more but they're worth it.
