This rod has been stored for several years and has been minimally fished since the original purchase. I took it out last weekend just to say goodbye. It is in great condition. Some finish is worn off the edge of the butt cap and there is a scratch on the ring used to secure the reel. The cork has darkened somewhat over time and has a very small nick that would be noticeable if you did a very close examination. A light sanding with very fine sandpaper would probably remove the blemishes and restore the original color but that is a decision for the new owner. Otherwise the rod is perfect and it casts like a dream. It comes with the original case. The availability of a used GLX 9' 4pc travel rod.In this condition, is uncommon.

You know the rod. You know the reel. These are big water, big game fishing tools. The rod is used but in great shape, the reel has only been tested one time and that was on a 9 pound bonefish in Bimini. The only flaw is the reel has the original owners name on it. It is a left handed reel by the way. You can switch it to a right hand retrieve by taking it to any local Nautilus dealer. I hate to sell them, but I simply don't use them and figured they would be a good set up for anyone wanting to get a quality set up at an affordable price.
