Free Shipping Location: Japan This is a vintage Daisy Heddon Model 320 Fly Reel. It is in excellent working condition with no mechanical problems. Look at all the photos for the cosmetic ... morecondition. Note that the reel and spool were marked in black. But this appears to be black nail polish, which can be fairly easily scraped off with a fingernail without marring the reel's finish. I will leave finishing that job to the new owner. The(very) old fly line(a Scientific Anglers Air Cel Wet Tip WF-6-F/S) and old backing are included, but may not be fishable. It is now set up for left-hand wind, but can be easily changed to right-hand wind. This classic reel belonged to my Dad, and I remember him buying a couple of these as spares in the 1960's, and this one, while more than 50 years old, likely wasn't used very much. I managed to lose the one he gave me at some point about 30 years ago. The reel frame is 3 1/2 inches in outside diameter and 1 inch wide. The spool is 3 1/8 inches in outside diameter and 3/4 inch wide. What is interesting about these reels is that they were assembled in the USA out of parts made in Japan(as marked on the reel foot) and they were high quality but relatively inexpensive reels. As you can see, the Heddon 320 is essentially a copy of the classic Hardy Lightweight fly reel. I am not sure if parts are interchangeable. These Heddon 320's are quite rare(certainly more rare than the Hardy reels) and extremely hard to find in this condition. An essential for your collection, even if you only collect Hardy reels, but the reel can also be used for any fresh-water fly fishing. I have too many fly reels that I don't use, so I am thinning the herd. I will be listing some other fly reels and duck calls this week, so take a look at my other auctions. I accept only Paypal. here is a beautiful 4 inch perfect in perfect condition. It has been back to hardy some years ago for a overhaul and is in as new condition to use, it looks like hardy re coated it and has a small amount of paint loss as you can see from pics. the reel and all its workings are like a new reel, if you are looking for a new salmon reel for the new season with line guard this one is for you. check out the pics and see how much of a beauty this is, there is another salmon reel on ebay starting at an unrealistic 800 pounds! this reel is priced to sell

The only thing i can see that i must point out is the tiny bit of pitting on the one part of the edge, you can see this in pics it really makes no difference to the reel at all. it has chunky black handle and ribbed brass foot. this is a sort after reel at a great price ready for the new season.i do not wish to put down any other salmon reels for sale on ebay but if you look you will see that the salmon perfects i have for sale are in far better condition compared to the others listed and far cheaper starting price. This is a spare spool for an older Hardy LRH Lightweight fly reel. Comes with its original box. In excellent shape, and packing tissue which is tattered. This spool has been fitted to my older 2-screw line guard era LRH and it fits perfectly. As a result, there is a bit of grease on the teeth. A small amount of the finish is off of the center"bump" of the latch plate. Otherwise, spool appears new. Insured shipping to any location within the US is $6. Additional charges apply elsewhere. Vintage Orvis Umpqua Hart Bamboo Fly Reel NR 9 weight Vom Hofe Hardy Style
NO RESERVE AUCTION with Buy it Now You are bidding on a vintage 1970's Orvis Umpqua Reel anti-reverse RIGHT HAND WIND ONLY. This classic look has been taken from Vom Hofe and refined by the Hardy Cascapedia and now shows up in the Orvis reel. Perfect for your bamboo rod. The reel comes with 200 yds of 20 lb backing and 30 yds of WF9F. I am assuming the line is original. But looks fine to use as is. I have some research that this was built by Hart for Orvis, and that there were only 500 made, however, I can not confirm the 500 number. I am assuming that is where the number U302 came from Umpqua number 302 of 500. I have attached the Fireside Angler catalogue picture that describes and depicts this reel. It was sold in the 70's for $190 and the block leather case alone is worth at least $100 now. Also included are 2 spare cork drag ... morewashers(1 now damaged see note in bold below) however the two that are in the reel are fine like new. This reel is truly like new inside and out. Only thing I can see wrong is some marking on the inside of the leather case and a small nick near the U on the reel seat(See pictures) The nick may have occurred at the factory, I don't know. I was asked about the dimensions of the reel today. The diameter of the reel is 3 3/8" and the width of the spool between the end plates(without taking it apart) is 1 1/4" I am so mad at my self. After taking measurements and putting the reel back in the case. The reel foot hit one of the cork washers and snapped it in two. I thought I should tell everyone. The drag on the reel is awesome from free spin to"I can barely pull it out. I would consider taking this reel to fight large trout. Salmon, strippers, bonefish, whatever. Offering a Hardy Viscount 130 fly reel in very good used condition. Reel is part of the lightweight series of reels. Frame is 3 1/4" diameter and 1 1/8" wide, spool is 2 7/8" diameter and 3/4" wide, reel weighs 4.5 ounces. This would accept a 4 or 5 weight line and sufficient backing for small stream fishing. This reel was made in England unlike most of the new Hardy reels. This reel is in overall very good condition with only a little wear on the backplate. No edge wear on the frame. There is a single screw line guide, single pawl drag and a tension regulator on the back. The reel foot is straight with only minor wear from fitting on a fly rod. Presently set up for left hand retrieve this reel could be changed to right hand retrieve by flipping the pawl around. A very good condition fly reel that would look great on a ... morebamboo rod but would also suit fiberglass or graphite rods. Up for auction is this older(circa 1980) Hardy Bros 3 5/8 inch# 8/9 multiplier fly reel in decent condition throughout retaining approximately 98% of the grey finish on the frame. The spare frame is also in decent condition other than some rubs here and there(see pics) Engraved on the back of the reel is“Marquis# 8/9” and“Made By Hardy Bros Ltd England” The multiplying unit has a quick drum release latch and a single ebonite handle mounted to it. It has a short smooth alloy foot and the drag control knob is located on the back of the reel. Included is the original Hardy box. Vinyl padded case and a small leaflet pertaining to the multiplier unit. The spool contains backing line and all you have to do is attach your fly line to it. Reel is 3 3/16 inches in diameter by 1 1/16 inches wide. Cast of a newly developed magnesium alloy the reel is extremely light weighing a mere 2.2 ounches- more than 30% lighter than comparible sized Hardy reels using traditional cast aluminum alloys. Hardy Perfect 3 3/8 inch fly reel 60s/70s.
A really nice Hardy Perfect 3 3/8 narrow drum trout reel. It has enamel finish and is in quite nice order. I have owned it since the 1980s but think it must be of 1960's or possibly 70's date of manufacture. It has a smooth ali foot and agate line guide. Line is an 80's floating weight forward so not of any great value. The leather case is not period and is a near new modern leather sheep skin lined one. All in all a very nice reel to keep or to use. Postage quoted is for UK special delivery with compensation or international signed for with additional compenstaion. Vintage Hardy "Gem" Mk I Fly Reel
A vintage Hardy Mk I"Gem" fly reel manufactured between 1961-1969. Marked on back in block letters-THE 3/58" GEM HARDY BROS LTD MAKERS ALNWICK ENGLAND. It has paint wear along the back rim and on the reel edges as well. The spool is non-perforated and seems to be spun from aluminum. The reel mechanism functions well. It has a nice purring click. It has an adjustable flip type lever drag knob and a black reel seat and handle. A well used-but fully functional fly reel. No returns- so please feel free to ask any questions before bidding.
