Reel is made from bar stock alluminum. Everything runs smooth on this reel. It is set up for left hand wind(could be changed) Reel has a fine outgoing click and an excelent drag system. Finish is in black with only a couple of minor dings on the rim. Logo on the side plate says Lamson#3,USA. 2 VINTAGE LAMSON CASH CARRIER TUBES SHOP COUNTER DISPLAY REGISTER TILL RARE
These are two vintage LAMSON cash carrier tubes. they each have LAMSON on the sides of the thick clear hard plastic material. the bottom has a felt covering. And also in brass the letters of the alphabet. The top has a thick leather surround and a metal button which says LIFT THE DOT. This is a rubber lid for putting the money and receipts in, which was then sent by a mechanical means to the office to pay for the item purchased in the shop. Overall the tubes each measure approx. 11 inches long, and 7 inches around the middle. The clear plastic material is a bit of wear but no holes and has only one small crack at the top about 1 inch long, but isnt open.The lids wotk well, and are intact as are the metal buttons, some wear as to be expected, but excellent vintage items.

This is an old change cup with bill and receipt clip. Cup is bakelite and the clip is I believe brass. This is in good condition. But it is missing one of the screws to hold the clip on. This cup fit on the Rapid Wire Cash Carrier Trolly used in department stores years ago. This one has a tag on it from a previous owner indicating it was used by J.C. Penney in the 30's. Antique Lamson Arcade Coin Change Machine
This Lamson Arcade Coin Change Machine is in excellent condition and each of the coin slots and tabs work smoothly. The cast iron appears in perfect condition and has a tarnished brass looking finish. The original top which held additional coins is missing and in its place a piece of granite slab was glued. The slab looks rich and attractive. But does have some grooves and holes in it which I tried to show in the photos. I don't know the actual age of this piece. But the markings clearly show it was patented in July 1891. This is quite the conversation piece. It was found in arcade and amusement parks to quickly disperse change to the patrons. Mr. Lamson was later admitted to the American Precision Museum and the Machine Hall of Fame. This weights 15lbs. My handling charges of $6 cover estimated packaging and insurance costs.

They kept all the positives of the original: strong and rugged, smooth and reliable drag, lightweight build and a large arbor spool.
