Very interesting and beautiful floral tooled holster. Marked with a fancy"RMK" I think) on the front and"Loon the back. Los Angeles FEB? 1912. Note these marking look to be pushed into the leather with a pointed object, but not one that cut the leather. I think maybe a nut pick. Here's the interesting part. The fledgling motion picture industry studions moved from the east coast to California VERY early in the 20th century. Many unemployed or just curious cowboys drifted to LA to seek employment, figuring they could certainly pass as real cowboys! Early western'silents' had already been introduced to the general public.

This is a true-bypass switch that lets you turn multiple effects on and off at one time. And also makes all the effects in your chain true-bypass when used in this pedal's loop. Basically, it can work as an effects loop for an amp that doesn't have one. ANTIQUE PUBLISHED BY THE CLASON MAP CO. CHICAGO. ILL. MAP OF CHICAGO LOOP THERE IS NO COPYRIGHT DATE ON THIS MAP! IN MY RESEARCH. I LEARNED THAT CLASON MAP COMPANY OFTEN DIDN'T PUT DATES ON THEIR MAPS! A GOOD RESOURCE FOR CLASON MAP CO. INFO IS; This map came to me. Along with many, many other items, from an old friend, after she passed. I found this in the bottom of a box with other paper items from the mid 1920's-1930. Reading the stacks and stacks of letters, I learned that her Aunt, who was in college in Tennesee, traveled alone to Chicago, to visit her brother, who was a graduate student at University of Chicago. She must have obtained this map while on that trip. I explain this to give a time frame to the document. Although, it may certainly be a later dated map. This is a Map of the Chicago Loop. Running down the right margin ... moreis a list of the Principal Buildings. Within the map boundries. On the southwest corner is a List of Railroads Entering Chicago, Railway Stations, Downtown Hotels and Downtown Theaters. It also says, Copyright By The Clason Map Co. All Rights Reserved. As you can see in the photos. The Map is clean and fully intact. It also has many creases from being folded. There is one teeny tiny pin hole in between the letters g/t the middle of the word Washington. Located on the line that reads, Franklin(Ill Bell Tel. 311 W. Washington. This line is located on the top crease, in one of the photos listing the Principal Buildings. I see no other rips, tears, fraying edges or physical damage to the piece. The printing is still dark and has not faded. There do not seem to be any stains. The reverse side is plain and shows a few, very pale stains. There is a pencil mark. The black ink almost bled through in a few spots, as can be seen in the photos. The entire document has yellowed in a fairly consistant manner. As you can surely see. I am not an expert on maps! METAL AND WICKER LOOP HANDLED BASKET This basket is very unusual and very attractive. It's made almost entirely of strong. Durable metal, except for the wicker base which is reinforced by a metal frame. The handle is a band of metal done in a high loop with a wicker handle accent at the top. The sides of the basket itself are done in a heavy chicken wire type fencing done in a the same hunter green as the rest of the basket's metal pieces. The legs are metal scroll designs also done in hunter green. Only the wicker is not green; that's done in a natural wood finish that compliments the rest of the basket beautifully. This basket measures 15.5" high and is 8" wide at it's widest point. The basket compartment is about 6" deep up to the lowest point on the upper rim. It weighs 13 oz. Antique Boston& Sandwich Flint Glass Compote c.1840 Petal& Loop Pattern Very Early High Resonance Flint Glass DESCRIPTION An unusual base on this bowl! A Boston& Sandwich early flint glass compote in the Petal& Loop Pattern made circa 1840 with a gorgeous silvery luster to the glass. Many Pennsylvania glass companies of a much later period made similar compotes in what they called LOOP- PETAL or TULIP pattern. None have the exact same design or beauty of this honest to goodness Boston& Sandwich Glass piece. The compote has a fiery brilliance. A very silvery apperance to the glass. This was made with a high content of flint giving it a very deep resonant sound when struck, the tone lingers like a bronze bell. In fact, when you just lightly touch this bowl you can hear a faint ring. a remarkable early piece of flint glass! ... moreThe entire design of the bowl is very deeply molded. It has 12 flaring petals that are 1/2" thick and drop down just below the bottom edge of the bowl. The underside of the bowl is quite unusual with it's 6 deep molded circles. The open pedestal base repeats the design of the bowl. This is a very early Boston& Sandwich Flint compote. With it's unusal design to the base of the bowl and the deep joining of the pedestal and bowl. The bowl and the pedestal were made separately and joined together with the typical wafer of molten glass. However on this one the pedestal was pushed well up into the base and you can see were the molten glass of the wafer was pushed out along the edges where the pedestal and bowl meet. Very heavy. This compote weighs more than 4-1/2 lbs. Size: 10-1/4" across x 6-1/4" high x 5" across the base. CONDITION Very Good Condition Expected straw marks from the press and some bubbles. There is some minor wear visable. You can feel a light roughness on the rim edge of a few of the petals and there is one tiny chip on the underside of one petal.
