This holster looks like it may fit several types of revolvers such as a Smith& Wesson, Merwin& Hulbert, and can also fit a Colt Single Action Army revolver. If you want this holster for your CSAA, please ask me to send you the URLS so you can see how a CSAA fits into this holster. eBay will not allow me to show an image with a gun in the holster; however, I have 2 images with 2 different dummy Colt SAAs in this holster that are available to prospective bidders. The CSAA fits snugly into the holster, and the hammer strap fits tightly ... moreover the gun when in the holster, but fits low in the holster pocket. This unmarked& unlined holster is well crafted and appears to be American made. It is finely stitched, has a snap on the hammer strap that works fine, and the panel tooling is two toned and nicely tooled. It is 11" tall X 5 3/8" wide with a skirt with an tooled border and wide Mexican style double loops with with two tone tooling en suite with the holster. Either a 4 3/4" or 5 1/2" barreled CSAA would fit inside the holster completely. As the open-toed design is intended, a 7 1/2" barrel would stick out from the bottom of the holster about 1" 1 1/2" There are two small holes at the bottom of the holster and also under the holster at the bottom of the skirt to attach a leather leg thong if desired, and the#38 stamped underneath the holster. Overall in excellent +, original condition, with nice patina, and very light wear. No damage, repairs, or alterations. Vintage High Back Loop Seat Western Saddle by GEORGE LAWRENCE. 13.5" seat. 5.5" gullet, 26.5" skirt, 5" cantle, Bow fork with a leather wrapped horn. Back of cantle marked G. L. Co in circle in a diamond. George Lawrence changed their logo over the years and I believe this is one of their earliest. Lots of tooling to leather. I believe the sheepskin to have been replaced in at one time, as well as some strings. Great looking old high back loop seat saddle with a rich brown patina.
