You are buying a vintage Orvis Fly fishing rod and reel set with case. It is in vary good condition. Looks like it was used once and put away. It has a Orvis Battenkill 3 fly reel that has full spool of line. It has a 7' Orvis Fullflex four piece rod that has Vary little use with no cork wear or damage at all the only set back is that the end rod has been tipped. Probably broke it first time out and never used it again. Should be easy to repair or replace with new tip. The original tip is in envelope with key to case. Reel case is un damaged or scratched and looks like brand new and is other wise in excellent condition. It has a hard case with foam interior. 1992 ORVIS GREEN MOUNTAIN I Fly Fishing Reel 7 WT. Original Box w/ Yellow Line
Here is a great ORVIS fly fishing real Model"Green Mountain I" that's a Roman numeral one) and also marked"7 WT. On the reel it is marked"Made In USA" Orvis technical people told me this reel was manufactured in 1992 and is considered a vintage reel. New looking. It seems not to have any use, I see no wear marks or chipped paint on surface. It does have yellow line loaded in it and a loop at the feed end of this line as can be seen in the images. The reel is approx. 3-1/2" diameter. The box that comes with it is the original box, though the original packing material is missing. Notice the Orvis numbers on the box lid and also again on the bottom of the box. Inside also is a pamphlet put out by Orvis entitled"Getting Started in Fly Fishing" ORVIS GREEN MOUNTAIN SERIES" which is a 30 pages counting ... morefront& back cover. 1956 Orvis 300 Up for auction what is considered an ultra light Orvis 300. Unfished. The reel works like new, nice strong bail, and nice anti-reverse. Handle is spring loaded, for easy storage. Honestly, these ultra light Zangi's have a great weight and feel to them! This reel is hard to find these days. And would make a good collection piece, or fish a very nice Vintage reel! I obtained this reel from a collector friend. Along with a couple of 3V's, and a super rare 100B NIB a few years back, and have had it in my collection ever since. He told me he has had it since new, and that it has not been used, and knowing this matte finish like I do, they show scratches very easily) I tend to believe him. These are tough to find, and their size makes them one of the more desirable Orvis reels to own! The finish on this reel. Thomas& Thomas 5WT 2 PC Fly Rod& Reel This is an older ES 865(Emerger Series) Graphite Rod. This series was discontinued by T&T back in 1999. This was rod. Reel and flies were given to me buy the owner to sell and donate the proceeds to Ducks Unlimited. In my opinion it looks like this rod was never used as the reel mounting area shows no marks at all. The cork handle is not hard as shows no discoloration. This rod was hand letter with silver paint after it was built in Turners Falls, MA. Some areas of the paint are gone, but you can still read all the numbers. There is another number on both halves of the rod, 74-25. The reel is RimFly by Cortland. I would say it has been used. As it shows some areas of slight wear. It has line and backing that I would guess is old. orvis clearwater classic 3 fly reel +tippet and weights
I have a orvis clearwater classic 3 fly reel in great looking condition with very few marks the reel is in excellent working condition and comes with fly line and 2 spools of tippet one is a fenwick 6lbs test and the other one is orvis super strong 3.5lbs test and i have a container of little split shots by lemer there no#6 thanks for looking
