It has good feel. I used it for tarpon with 12 weight floating and intermediate lines and also a 500 grain sinking line. The fishing pics are with the 500 grain line at Isla Holbox. The rod has only seen 6 days of use in total. It is in excellent condition with only very minor. Cosmetic blemishes. This is a very economical way to get into 12 weight game with a decent stick.

Redington CPX 9' 8wt. This is a very fast rod and a great all around rod for salt. Bass, etc. I am including an Allen Alpha 7/8wt reel as well. I wouldn't recommend the real for salt water use as the drag is not sealed but it was a very serviceable bass reel for me since I bought it. The rod is in excellent condition and was well taken care of. The cork has some slight discoloration from dirt and use but there is no damage anywhere on the rod. This was a backup and small fly throwing musky rod over this last season. The original rod was purchased over 4 yrs ago. Fly Rod Redington CPS 9' 6" 8wt
Up for grabs is a lightly used 9 foot 6 inch 8 weight CPS. I bought this with intentions for surf fishing and wading deeper flats thinking the extra six inches would give me a better advantage for more distance. My casting abilities are such that didn't I noticed too much difference except I have way too many 8 weights and most are collecting dust including this one. Other than a few small scratches the rod is in excellent condition. Very nice casting rod and for sure probably the best rod Redington ever made. I still have three more CPS rods that I will keep. I just think this one needs to be fishing instead of being on my wall. I did catch my largest sea trout to date with it last June on the flats here. About 28" guesstimate before release.
