This is a lightly-used Redington CPS 9'0" 7-weight 4-piece rod. This rod is best described as"nearly new" because I purchased it. Fished it several times, then broke it. Because Redington simply replaces broken rods, I received a totally new and unfished rod, which I then took on several trips but did not fish after the break. The rod shows some signs of wear(and the sock/case are from the original rod) but it's actually not been fished a day. This is a great fast-action 7-weight that I purchased as a backup fly rod for bonefishing trips; I've used its predecessor for bonefish. Redfish, summer steelhead, and carp. It's a great big trout rod as well. I used it for several years as a backup rod; I recently purchased a new 7-weight, so my old 7-weight is now my backup, and this rod needs to move on to a new, good ... morehome. It's in great shape; clean cork and no real scratches- like I said. It's been carried around but not fished since my broken rod was replaced with this one. It is a fast-action 4-piece rod that really works well on a variety of species. There is some white residue on the reel seat. I made sure to show you a picture of the worst bit. It's paint from the gunwale of a flats-boat that transferred to the rod. Hard to get off, but has no effect on performance; you could probably scrape it off if you put some effort into it- I didn't. This rod retailed new for $250.00. It's a great backup rod or a steal for someone looking to make a great 7-weight purchase without breaking the bank. Redington Predator 7' 10" 6 weight 4 pc in like new condition. I bought it last season to take to Belize as a light bonefish rod and back up to my new Winston 9' 7 wt B3SX but I only used the Winston on the trip. Since then. I let my nephew use it on a lake trip for a day or 2 but the rod is perfect in every way. You will think it is brand new! It is a wonderful small streamer rod. It would be a kick for small saltwater species. Bass, trout and pink salmon. It will certainly fish dry or set up with an indicator and a nymph and you can rip up small waters.

Here is my Redington CPX 8133-4 two handed rod that is in excellent condition. Given the fact that it has only been cast in my spey clinics and has never seen a fish. No dings in any of the sections and the cork is perfect. There are a few minor superficial scuffs from being set down during casting sessions, but nothing that will affect it's structural nature. St Croix Legend Ultra U762.4 2wt 7'6" w/Redington Drift 3/4 (Titanium) + Line
Rod. Reel, and line have only been used a 4 or 5 times. I originally bought this for the Driftless region but rarely ever go so this is just sitting around collecting dust. The photo of the reel is the reel you will get but I had it mounted on a different rod with different line so only pay attention to the reel in that picture. The reel will come with Scientific Anglers SPX line spooled up already. I'll send the box the line came in as well. Also comes with original rod tube. Free shipping if Buy It Now is used.
