The name says it all; The Redington Classic Trout is a series of fly rods designed specifically for trout fishing. Very rarely will you find a rod manufacturer with a line specifically made for a type of fish. From a very svelt two weight model on up to a beefy six weight you can cover practically any type of trout fishing waters with a Classic Trout. These rods have a medium style action just right for small to medium sized trout and as as previously mentioned come in a variety of line weights and lengths to fit just about any of your desired trout fishing waters. The Classic Trout series of rods come in styles of four or six pieces. This makes them perfect for on the go fishing that needs to be stowed away or packed when space is at a premium. I am selling this for a friend who no longer uses it. It is a walk behind lineal counter made in the U.S.A. by the Redington Measure Co.that measures 4' with one revolution of the wheel. It is used and shows some wear with the worst at the handle[ pic 5] Highly accurate as I tested it out with a 25' tape measure. You will have to be able to put it together as I will dismantle it for packing. It's quite easy but it has to be told to you. If not totally happy then send it back for a full refund. It is in excellent condition. The four pieces each slid into a separate compartment in a cloth tie bag then fit snuggly into a canvas carrying tube with carrying strap. The cork handle is in excellent condition. This rod is like new.
