Reducing my extensive collection of pedal and rack effects. Attention all sound effects collectors: This is a very rare Euro 220v version of the ROSS Flanger. You do NOT see these come up for sale like the US 110v versions. This one is circa 1978-1979. I had one of these(110v version) back in that time frame as part of my working effects signal chain. They are very much like a combination of the EH Electric Mistriss/A/DA Flanger/ MXR Flanger in sound and capability. I used almost every flanger back in the day and this was the one I used until the end of my band days. Very smooth. Liquid and hypnotic sounding. You can manipulate sounds from anything mild to extremely wild. The example I have for sale I purchased years ago and it's been stored away. I had to buy a Euro 220v to 110v transformer. Which can easily be found on the net for $20 ... moreor so. I played with it briefly in my home studio and put it away. It is in such pristine condition that I didn't want to risk scratching or damaging it. The 220v to 110v transformer is NOT included. It includes the original box and packaging. Which as you may have noticed in most auctions is long missing. The box does have wear along it's edges which you could expect from it's age. The inside includes the original foam protective surround and the original warranty card from ROSS. The flanger itself is in pristine collectors condition. This listing is for an authentic vintage antique collector's sample of barbed wire fencing. This wire features a Noble G. Ross patent. Dated June 10, 1879. This wire is called"Ross' Four-Point Flat& Round Barb on Twisted Lines" by collectors. ref. Hagemeier NOT FOUND) This wire features two twisted together line wires. Barbs are four pointed made from two barbing wires. One of the barbing wires is flat in cross section, and the second is round. Point of one barbing wire is placed between line wires, and remainder of barbing wires are wrapped together around both line wires. Wire sample is a minimum of 18" in length. It shows light age and use wear, with light pitting. There are five barbs, well spaced, and cut is well centered. There is some bending of points, but no broken or missing points. Antique ROSS'S BELFAST Round Bottom Ballast bottle, 1800's Soda Bottle
ROSS'S BELFAST BOTTLE This auction is for a very old round bottom bottle embossed ROSS'S BELFAST. It's clear glass and has a crudely made top. Not quite a blob top, but has more of a flat sided top. Numerous large and small air bubbles. About 8-3/4" long. No cracks. But does have chips on the top. Has surface scratches and a mud/soiled interior. Why would anyone make a round bottom bottle? I've been told that the rounded bottom was to ensure that the bottle was left on its side so that the cork would not dry out and shrink. Causing the contents to loose carbonation or evaporate. Many round bottom bottles were used as"ballast bottles" since many of them were imported from Europe as"ballast" keel weight) in ships returning to the United States. This one probably came from Belfast, Ireland and could have ... morecontained soda or ginger ale circa 1870's-1910. I'm not a bottle expert. I just like them! Round Bottom Mold-Blown Green Glass ROSS + S, BELFAST Ginger Ale Bottle - 1900's
This auction is for an antique green ginger ale bottle that was produced between 1870 and 1911 in Belfast. Ireland. The bottle had a round base even after flat bottoms were being produced so that they could not be left in an upright position! That was done so that the cork seal would stay moist, preventing leakage of the pressure and spoilage of the contents. This information was gleaned from the website of Ottawa House Museum in Canada. They have an identical bottle in their collection. Theirs was found during digging on their property in 2007. The one I have for sale was found during an excavation for a foundation in Whiteville, North Carolina, in 1941. My dad was there and was given the bottle shortly after it was discovered. GL3, 8wt, 9 foot, 4-piece, and comes with a rod sock and a hard zippered case.it's in great condition and was recently cleaned and the ferrules waxed. The Ross reel is a Canyon BG-4 and is spooled with 20 pound orange Dacron backing and 200 yards of 30 pound Sufix Siege in neon tangerine.The line and the backing are new(this year) The reel has been cleaned and does not have any rubs or scratches.Comes in a Ross neoprene pouch. This is a Rare Ross Rifle Bayonet. Date stamp 3/12. In fair condition. Good restoration find. Missing button on the end that attaches it to the rifle. Would even be good to have to fill a spot in the collection as they are very hard to find.
