Rare Sage LL 486-3 Fly Rod with Blank Warranty Card Beautiful Excellent Cndition
This is a beautiful used Sage LL Fly Rod. Graphite III construction. Three piece. Eight and a half foot for four weight. Cork is barely soiled as this rod has only seen the water a handful of times. Seems I neglect it so it should be in the hands of someone who will give it water time. There are a some slight scratches to the reel seat end but these could be buffed out. Amazingly, the nickel silver is still pretty shiny. Maybe not as bright as the showroom days but still looks really nice. I have gone over the rod and cannot see any scratching or dings to the blank. There is barely any indication that the rods ferrules have ever come together as I always kept a good layer of wax on them. This has the split ring hook keeper as well. All wraps in great shape. No chunks out of the cork. The tube shows wear but is perfectly round. Cap fits perfectly ... moreand still has the rubber seal. And the most amazing part is that I never filled out the original warranty card so that comes with it as well. Here is a Sage 590-4 ZXL fly rod that has been used in my Sage casting classes and has been fished a few times. There is a Sage factory inscripted"Demo" just above the name rider as they do on their school/class rods. This in no way affects the warranty and this is a factory"first" blank. This is an awesome fly rod that I have used 5 times total. It has a few minor scratches on it that I tried my best to highlight in the pictures. Please look closely. The guides are all perfect and the rod is functionally perfect. It comes with the original sage rod tube/case that has 4 individual sections for each part of the rod. This setup is perfect for fishing anything from small mountain streams up to larger rivers and lakes. Also as a bonus I am throwing in this Okuma Sierra 5/6 reel with backing and line. Sage SLT 590-4 Fly Fishing Rod in excellent shape. 9' 4 piece 5 weight. Comes with warranty card. Lightly used and in great condition. It has some marking to the reel seat wood from putting reels on it(see pics) I have lawn cast this a few times and have fished it a few times only. This is a really nice all around fly rod. Probably would be my favorite if I was still fishing graphite but I fish almost only bamboo now. Comes with original sock and tube. Well cared for. Edit- Just a note- the cork looks darkened in some of the photos but it really has very little discoloring from being handled/cast. It has been stored in the tube for at least the last 2-3 years.

Up for your consideration is this Nice Sage SLT 5 wt. 2 pc. fly rod. The rod is 2 pc and 9 ft long and is very light and weights 31/16 ounces. The rod is in great condition. It has a small scratch just above cort handle. The ferruels and guides are all in fabulous condition. It also comes with original rod metal tube. Sock and end cap. The sock is new and not original and end cap has been replaced. As you see in last picture the tube has a dent and a couple other small scratch's. A nice 5 wt. sage rod that is a top of the line rod. This is a Sage SP 890-3 Graphite IV fly rod in great used condition. This rod is for a#8 wt. line. And is 9'0" and weighs 3 9/16 oz. The rod itself looks unused save for a little darkening of the cork. There are no nicks, scratches, or corrosion on the rod. The reel seat is unblemished as well. However, though it looks it, this is not a new rod and in fact I caught a number of salmon with it just last year. I just have a"few" too many rods that never seem to get used and I am selling some to make room to buy more rods I don't already own) This probably makes sense to some of you out there. Anyway. Sage SLT 080-3 graphite IIIe B 0-weight Zero Weight fly rod
Sage 0-weight eight foot SLT 080-3 Three piece. Eight foot long, zero weight fly rod. Made with a Vernieries downlocking nickle silver reel seat. Premium wood insert(cocobolo? with a slim level cigar shaped grip with nickel silver hosel. The thread is the same color as the blank and is coated lightly with flex coat. There are two stripping guides slightly turned toward the left hand as this rod is made for a right hand caster. IF you are left handed, it will not affect the cast, the pull on the guides is subtle as it should be. The rod was made by me, I am a rod maker, graduated to making bamboo fly rods and now I fish TENKARA. This rod sits and needs a loving small stream fly angler to enjoy it.
