This is an immaculate Sage 12 weight custom graphite fly rod. This is a custom made rod from the mid 1980's and one of the first sage rods. I inherited it and as far as I know. This is a Sage Graphite III GFL 990-3 RPLXB 3 piece fly fishing rod. It is used and in perfect casting and fishing condition. It has 10 guides and tip top. And hook keeper. It has a cork foregrip and cork butt that is unscrewable. There is a DECAL just above the foregrip that says"Custom Built by Fisherman's Center" and is partially peeling off leaving an indentation on the gel coat. Please see photo) There is also a fish decal stitched underneath the flex coat. It looks to me like this"Fisherman's Center" put on the fish decal and possibly the guides, on a Sage blank. This is a great 9 foot 4 piece 7 weight fly rod that is custom made on a Rainshadow Batson RX7+ Graphite blank. The wraps are very fine with a nice tipping. The rod comes with a beautiful handle and a stunning matching wood reel seat. A folding hook keeper is present on the rod. The sale includes a rod bag. This rod had little use and I am the original owner. I had several seven weight rods so I hope you enjoy it. The rod is rated as a seven weight but could be fished on line rating either up or down. This is very similar to a Sage fly rod. Check on Batson or Rainshadow and you will see these fly rods are well regarded.
