This is a high end 4 piece Spey fly fishing rod. It costs $750 brand new. It has a special extra tip made for the rare event of the rod tip breaking. This cost $190 to make and is matched to the rod. The rod is 14 feet long and can easily land large King salmon fish. It casts like a dream and loads and casts a Rio Spey line very well. I have switched to a lighter rod due to my poor health and now cast a lighter Dec Hogan Signature rod. I would keep this rod but a man onl needs so many rods to fish with.

Sage TCX 12'6 7 wt 4-piece Spey Rod "The Deathstar" for Fly Fishing
For auction is a factory built Sage TCX 12'6" 7 weight 4 piece spey rod. Deemed the"Deathstar" It boasts Sage proprietary Generation 5 Technology and weighs 7 5/8 ounces. It features a Kryponite Green blank. A nickel colored reel seat, and goldenrod/garnet thread wraps. The TCX line of fly rods define precision. Power, and feel. This rod is in decent condition. It's been fished hard and shows wear as a result. The cork handles and reel seat are in good shape. The rod blank has two places where the green finish has rubbed off from boats rides. See pics. Also. Two of the three female ferrule connections are slightly cracked. It doesn't appear to be fully compromised, but if the ferrules come loose while casting they could break over time, like any fly rod would. As with any Sage rod. It has a lifetime warranty. The Beulah Platinum Series 13'2" ... more4pc 7wt Spey rod being auctioned here naturally shows some signs of light cosmetic wear or tear that one would expect in a rod that's seen occasional use. As evidenced in the photos. The upper and lower cork grips show a modest bit of staining from previous handling, but remain overall, refreshingly void of any major chips, gouges, or excessive missing fill. Still bright and shiny like it was when first purchased. The sturdy up-locking reel seat still looks great, and was confirmed to still function perfectly too. A close review of the rod's glossy black blank from tip to butt reveals the typical light scrapes and scuffs in the expected high-traffic areas. But no signs of catastrophic abuse like deep scratches, scores, or penetrating nicks were found that would in any way hint the rod's original strength or integrity as compromised. While a close inspection of the rod's guides revealed no trace of tarnish. Rusting or oxidization present, it does appear that one of the rod's wire snake guides was mildly deformed at one time(see detailed pics! LOOP Multi 10130-4 Spey Rod
Loop Multi 9/10- This is my British Columbia big Steelhead and Salmon rod. It is smooth casting and works with all tempos. The rod is in good shape but does have a scratched up area a few inches long on the side of tip section between the first and second snake guide. This is likely from riding in the boat up and down the Dean and Skeena rivers. The rod is sound and should fish for many years. It also has a custom thread weave on the butt section of a Doc Ski salmon pattern. This was incorporated into as part of the logo of my favorite lodge. BC West. It is a nice piece of“thread art” It can be removed.

Scott T2H 1088-4 Spey/Switch Fly Rod
This is a used Scott T2H 10'8" 4 piece switch/mini spey rod. I have used it for both winter and summer steelhead. It casts an Airflo Rage 420 very well for summer work and can cast the big winter bugs with a 450 Airflo Skagit Switch. It has great feel and can fight big fish well with its powerful butt section. I am always surprised at my casting with this rod as it has both great accuracy and distance for its size yet still can cast very well up short. Additionally. Due to its shorter length, I can fish where others could have difficulty with longer spey or single hand rods such as tight to a brushy bank with overhanging trees. This is a very versatile rod with proven high quality Scott craftsmanship.

REDINGTON STANDARD ARBOR AS 11/12 WEIGHT FLY REEL GOOD SPEY ROD REEL
This is a Redington AS(standard arbor) 11/12 weight gold fly reel. This is a refurbished reel. It has a few minor scratches but is in excellent mechanical condition. Redington sold over 40 thousand of the AL and AS model machined anodized reels until the company was sold and Orvis put into the contract that the reels had to be discontinued so they did not compete with their reels. This reel holds 350 yards of 30 pound backing with a 12 weight line. Set for left hand retrieve but can be reversed. I have landed 125 pound tarpon on my AL 11/12. This is a good reel for a spey or double handed rod.

This rod is well used and has some tears from that. But it still performs well. On the pictures it can be seen some tears on the connection points between the three parts. On the male parts this is probably stearin or wax that could be carefully removed. I have only used the rod myself on few occasions and I felt it was to"stiff" for my casting style.

Up for auction is a P.D. Malloch Maker of Perth vintage bamboo spey rod. It's a 10' 3 piece rod. But it comes with a spare rod end/tip. Overall, the rod is in good condition for it's age. There is a glass insert missing from 1 of the eyelets, but other than that, the eyelets, wraps, ferrules, and cork are all in good shape. It comes in the original rod sock, which has the specs written inside of it. There's also writing on the cork that says it was paired with a Farlow reel. Scott Ls 2 1408 4 piece spey rod
Scott ls2 spey rod in good working order. This rod is a 14 foot 8 weight 4 piece rod. I am the sole owner and have used this rod many times over the last few years but now live too far from from any water where it can be off use. There is a small crack in the female ferrule of the second section. This crack has been ther since the first season I fished it and has never given me any problems.I have always either taped or waxed the ferrules. This rod is a great rod and is castable with a number of lines. It is in good condition for its age. If you have any questions please ask.
