It also includes about $150.00 worth of Airflo running line and a 480-500 grain Airflo compact skagit shooting head. This purchase will also include three different Rio Skagit Mow tips. The first is just a 10ft floating head that will help turn over those big flies that you are trying to keep close the surface. The second is 10ft tip that is integrated with 5 ft of floating and 5ft of T-11. The third head is just straight 12.5 ft of T-11. These Rio Mow tips run $25.00 dollars a piece. This would be a total value of $850.00. Again. This rod and reel has only been used twice so it is basically brand new. The only visible things wrong with this setup are two very small scratches on the reel. The scratches are so minuscule that they are almost not worth mentioning, but I am a totally straight forward seller. Leonard spey(2 handed) fly rod that is in great fishable condition without any need for work. This rod has been fished and cared for over the years. The only bad thing is that it has a profession repair on the last eye before the tip top. All I can see is a 3/4 inch length of clear wraps that is barely even noticeable. No bag or Tube. I will package properly in hard tube to insure it arrives in this exact condition. I do not know exactly what year this was made but I think it may be he an earlier model. 10 foot 6 inches total length. 3 piece, 1 tip. Each section 42 3/4 inches. All the Nickel Silver hardware looks to be in almost like new condition Ferrules are perfect. Pop taking them out. I bought this rod as brand new last summer. It has been lightly used. Overall. The rod is in very good condition. The cork is very clean and in excellent condition. Ferules show the rod used. There are a few minor scratches on the midsection due to normal use. The reason I am selling this one is that I bought a T&T 1409-5 later when T&T discontinued their long time classic model. The rod comes with original sock and blue aluminium rod case. I do not have the warranty card.

VTG 14' LEONARD Bamboo Salmon Fly Rod Steelhead Spey
This beautiful 14' Leonard salmon rod was made back when men were men. I'm unsure if the fellas of today. That believe lighter is better, would attempt to use it on their favorite Atlantic Salmon river, but it sure would look and work good with a Vom Hofe 504 hanging from the reel seat! If not for use, it could hang from one corner to another in the man cave. This rod is in excellent condition, but will need a few things to make it perfect and it would not take much. Obviously a few guides are off, which means that the wraps are dry. Four of the five guides are present, you will need to find one to complete the set. One section is a couple inches short, not a big deal on a rod of this length. The tips are in perfect condition with all guides attached, most likely because of the tube that they lived in. First Edition Hardback. One of the first books in the modern re-birth of spey casting. Innovative concepts on lines. And very good instructions for casting and fishing. Please be aware that this book has been owned by an avid fly tyer and cigar smoker. And the books are stored where the cigars are smoked. So keep that in mind as you bid. My friends who borrow books say that the smell wears off in about a week. And you can read them in comfort at that time. They usually read them in dis-comfort before then. The grading is severe, I would rather you be surprised that the book is higher quality than you expected, than reverse. All are used books- I bought them to use. Not abuse, but to use.
