The custom built 15'0" 3-piece 10-weight Spey rod being auctioned here is in excellent lightly-used condition. Very well-cared for by its previous owner and seldom fished, this powerful smooth-loading two handed fly rod shows only a faint few natural signs of nominal cosmetic wear and tear in the expected high traffic areas. As the photos show. The upper and lower cork grips display little hint of staining from previous handling, and remain overall free from any major chips, gouges, or excessive missing fill. Still bright and shiny like it once was new, the ultra-sturdy up-locking oversized reel seat still looks great and functions perfectly too. A close inspection of the rod's matte-graphite blank from tip to butt reveals no signs of catastrophic abuse like deep scratches. I have a Loop Opti 14' salmon fly rod for sale in VERY good condition. The rod has hardly been used and has been well cared for during use. The rod comes with the original Loop bag and Loop pentagonal tube with carrying handle and the original serial number. The pentagonal tube takes the 5-piece rod and the overall length of the tube is only 39" 1 m) and so it can be carried in the boot of the car away from prying eyes. The Opti has a reel seat that can allow the position of the reel to be adjusted to give the rod a balanced feel- very important during a long day's fishing.
