Vintage Shakespeare 1900 Model HF Steelhead Trout Antique Fly Fishing Reel You are bidding on a Vintage Shakespeare 1900 Model HF Steelhead Trout Fly Fishing Reel. Interesting reel as I heard that this was Shakespeare answer to the Hardy Perfect as it mimmics its design. But it never caught on because its quality was not that of the Perfect and not many were sold so Shakespeare discontinued manufacturing it shortly after making them today a highly sought reel of equal value to the Hardy Perfect. The reel does have wear but in all good cosmetic and funtional shape. Has some fading to the cover plate with other wear as seen in the photos. The frame has wear most rash around the edges and spool has some normal wear as well but quite good shape. Basically reel has normal wear as expected from age and use. It does still work well with good bearing, ... morecranks well with centred spool and has good cl ickers and springs with drag adjustment. The handle knob on the reel is in good shape and straight but it is tight to turn but seems like it could easily be loosend up to turn more freely by turning it and working it for a good while. A nice find of a reel for collection or field alike. For close inspection the super-sized and zoom-able photos are of this reel which show it well. Scott 9'6" 7 wt. 4 piece Steelhead/Trout/Salmon rod G957/4A
This is a special factory reps rod that I purchased new from an authorized Scott shop in Colorado in 1998. It has not been fished a whole lot over the years and is still in excellent condition. Overall. There are a few minute scuffs on the blank and the cork has moderate soiling. All guides and wraps are in perfect shape. Epoxy is smooth with no cracking and the ferules are strong with no excessive wear. The aluminum case has some scratches and the rod sock does have my name embroidered on it. I was told that this was one of the first examples of the Arc technology that Scott was putting on the market which explains the'A' in the model# I have the original invoice which I will include, that describes the rod as an Arc, in case anyone doubts my story. This rod has the guts to fish a long taper floating line as well as sink tips and ... morelarger flies. I have fished it on the Deschutes and Grande Ronde with a Rio Steelhead line and down in the Yucatan for small bones with a Rio Bonefish line. Although it is far from a modern day fast action rod, it handles moderate wind just fine and as a bonus, will make roll casts and long mends on 90' swings without blinking.It has a 5/8" long fighting butt. There are 9 pictures Offered for sale is a real nice vintage Pflueger Medalist 1498 fly reel& extra spool. Made in the USA This is the larger size Medalist made for STEELHEAD& SALMON fly fishing. The reel and spare spool have seen very little use-both remain in great used condition. The fly reels frame has just a couple of paint wear marks from use and storage. There is a older fly line on both the reel and spare spool that probably could be used but the line is probably around 30-35 years old on each and you may want to change to a modern fly line. Both the spool on the fly reel and the extra spool will need a new fly leader before use The reel is currently set up for right handed retrieve but can be changed to left real easy. The reel and spare spool were found in a recent estate sale in my area exactly how they are pictured-a little ... moredust from storage but overall as clean as used fly reels come. This is part of a lure assortment from a retired charter fishing business. I will have more stuff listed as I have time to list them. This is approximately a 22L x 11W x 9H Special Mate box with an assortment of 120 salmon. Steelhead and trout spoons. The box and tackle are in good condition. All of the hanger/dividers are secured in the box, with no broken hinges. Some of the lures have a little rust on the hooks, but will clean or replace nicely. There are a lot of rapala type diving fish, plugs, flat fish, and fat diver fish. The salmon are running and these will help get them in your boat. Please see pictures for more detail. But with the introduction of the Steelhead 100 and 200 appliances. Riverbed now targets much smaller offices as well. Here, we look at the entry-level Steelhead 100, which is aimed at remote offices of up to five people. It supports up to 25 optimised TCP connections and WAN links of up to 1Mb/sec- half the speed of an E1 line. The 100 runs exactly the same code as the Steelhead 1010. So you get the full benefit of Riverbed's optimisation technology, which includes wide area file services, compression, traffic shaping, QoS, caching and application acceleration. In common with all products currently on the market, it functions as a transparent TCP proxy that intercepts and optimises ... moreall TCP traffic. Every vendor has its own proprietary technology to improve WAN performance. And so it is with Riverbed. Its SDR(scaleable data referencing) stores all WAN traffic on the appliance's hard disk and uses proprietary algorithms to remove repetition. NO RESERVE AUCTION Original Wright McGill Granger Favorite. 9 ft. 3 piece with 2 tips. All Original and very tight. The only thing missing is the plastic on the grip and the label on the tube. Looks like an original Wright McGill tube) Could use a cleaning(or not if you like the patina) but other than that everything is in great shape. Practically mint unfished. Looks as if it has been fished several times then put away. This rod is the 9 foot 5 and 3/4 oz model and it is a big rod. Weighs 6.6 ounces with one tip. I like this with an 8WF. This rod would be perfect for bass, salmon, or steelhead. Please look at the pictures, other than a couple of scuffs to the varnish it is like new. The scuffs would probably polish out with some buffing compound if desired. You don't find them any nicer than this. Not a common rod size.
