You are considering an ECHO SR 5108-4 switch fly rod. This rod was a demo piece and is in excellent condition. A slight darkening of the cork is the only issue. The rod does not come with a sock or a case. The rod retails for $329.99 new. We are offering this rod for $160.00 and feel it is worth all of that. I bought this rod to use for nymphing on the Snake river but I am rather severely handicapped and this is too much length for me. The handle extension hangs occasionally on my wheelchair armrest so I am selling it. If I were not handicapped I would never sell this rod. Here is another bamboo rod from my collection. This us a 12 ft. Bamboo Spey rod that can be made into a 9 1/2 ft. switch rod by removing the bottom section and assembling the mid and tip sections into the handle. This is an experimental project rod that I made a few years ago. The ferrules were precision machined from solid bronze stock and are well fitting. GREYS GRXi+ 11' #7wt Switch Fly Rod
I live in the Pacific Northwest and have used this rod to land both salmon and steelhead. I used this spey casting with large flies and to stack mends indicator fishing. The extra length is helpful when drifting over different seams river fishing. The rod needs cleaned. But it is in fine shape. You can see how the pieces were pulled apart rather than twisted. Great rod for steelhead season. Rod tube included.

Up for sale is my Pacific Bay rod wrapper motor. Dryer motor, rheostat switch and pedal. The wrapper motor is a variable speed YDK 6000 r.p.m. 100v. The dryer motor is a Limit 30/36 r.p.m. 110v. All 3 units are spliced/connected to the aluminum base. Also has rheostat dial to adjust speed on wrapper motor and a toggle to switch power between motors. Both motors have pulleys attached. All units work perfectly and in great condition. This motor has only wrapped 3 rods and never was used to spin cork. If you had to by all pieces on Mudhole.com it would cost: Wrapping motor $73.84.
