VINTAGE BAMBOO FLY ROD/ CASTING ROD SLIP SWITCH COMBO
Vintage Slip Switch-style bamboo fly/ casting combo. There isn't a manufacturer's designation on the rod or hardware except for a'700' in script just above the foregrip. The rod measures about 5'7" when assembled as a casting rod and about 8'7" as a fly rod. The tip section of the casting portion and the middle fly rod portion are equal in length. The fly rod tip is about 3/8" shorter. The finish appears to be original and is in very nice condition with few blemishes/ hazy/ rough spots. The male ferrule of the bottom section has a hairline crack. But still fits well in either end of the butt section. The other ferrules fit very nicely together as well, though the bamboo shafts are just a tad loose inside them from dried/ aged adhesive. The casting tip section is missing its bottom guide and the middle ... moreguide is loose and needs to be re-wound. The guides and wraps on the fly sections look quite good. Both tips have a slight to moderate set in them. Will be carefully packaged and shipped Priority Mail.

VINTAGE RARE 10? SALMON SPLIT BAMBOO SWITCH FLY FISHING ROD The rod will be packed carefully and securely in a PVC hard plastic tube. This auction is for a vintage rare four piece Salmon split bamboo fly rod that can also be used as a two handed switch rod. It comes with its original storage sleeve. There are no manufacturer identifications; however it is all the characteristics of a Montague Gaspe model. It measures 10’ 1” and 9’6” with the two tips. I would estimate it would balance with a 10 weight forward fly or spey line. The 7 ¼” cork handle is fully functional. It has a small chip near the bottom which in no way will affect its use. The screw down lock reel seat is in great condition. The removable fighting butt is 7” long. The rubber end cap is not original to the rod. There are four snake eye guides on the mid section. Six on ... moreone tip and four on the second tip section. There is a stripper guide on the bottom section. The rod fits together perfectly when assembled, has the distinct pop sound when removed and is straight. I meticulously stripped the old varnish. Refinished with four coats of spar varnish and completed it with high quality wood rubbing compounds. The ferrules have been buffed and polished. The deep honey colored cane and varnish finish are spectacular. This classic cane rod would be an ideal steelhead and salmon rod and can be used as a modern day two handed switch rod. Sage One 11'6" 7 wt switch rod w/ Lamson ARX reel
Sage One 7116-4 is up for bid. I used this stick for two weeks last fall for Erie steelhead. As you can see in the photos. The only flaw on the rod is a nick in the cork at the rear of the front grip. It was my own dumb fault when unhooking a streamer. The rod is in great shape other than that. Included will be a Lamson ARX loaded w/ Rio Switch Chucker 465gr. I'm even throwing in a 5'10' length of T-11. Everything is in great shape. This is a sweet setup. For sale is a Delta Rockwell Catalog#1115 toggle switch made by Cutler Hammer which is mounted in the motor junction box. The switch lever is flat and has the hole for Push-Pull/ Start-Stop Rod. The switch has 2-poles and is rated at 1-1/2 HP. 10A@ 250 V, 15A@ 125V. The switch has been tested and has continuity thru both poles. As seen in the photos one of the plastic insulating legs has been broken off, probably to make room for a connector. This has no effect on the operation of the switch.

I got a great deal on this rod from a friend who bought it new but never used it. I have another rod that I use primarily so this rod just sits in the closet. This rod was $995 new. Save big $$$! INDUSTRIAL MOMENTARY ON/START TOGGLE TWIST SWITCH ~ RACE CAR/HOT ROD STARTER
Here's an industrial type momentary on/start switch with a twist toggle handle that's being sold as is. It's untested by me. But the person I got it from said it was used as a starter switch in a hot rod. The handle moves about 30 degrees to the left with a loud click for it's contact point without locking in to position, and springs back heavily on its own when released. As photo 5 shows, all the threaded parts are in good condition. I didn't notice a manufacturer's name on it, but numbers on the side of the switch read'No. 7, 7N4160' There's only 1 wire hold-down screw still with it, and the 3 contacts are lettered'B- S- R'

OK. I'm getting out of the switch rod deal-tried it and I like the single handed stuff too well. Here is a total 6wt outfit that is lightly used but in excellent shape. Switch Rod for vintage Delta 17" Drill Press
Original Delta part optional switch rod for the 17" drill press as shown next to another one installed. This was intended for the older Delta 17" drill presses from the'30s through maybe sometime in the'50s when the design of the drill presses was changed some. This would be the drills with the DP 600 head casting. I bought the one shown installed and shortly thereafter got this other one with some machines I bought. My price reflects what I paid for the first one which I would like to recoup. This one was bent somewhat from it's original shape and using the first one I had as a model I got it back to normal. It was at both ends where it had been changed. The more complicated bending in the middle was not messed with. It may be necessary to straighten the motor end a bit more but it makes more sense for someone to fine ... moretune to his or her own drill.
