This is a very cool Heddon fly rod. I think back in the day a company called FOLSOM made some of there better rods. It is a 1520 8 1/2 feet 3 piece down locking reel seat. Comes with a folding landing net. Bag, aluminum tube that says HEDDON'S DOWAGIAC on the cap.The folding net I could not find on the web but it seams like it comes from the same time, the writing on the net says IDEAL on the but section. Most of my fly fishing is done in the salt water, so some of the info could be off a bit. Its hard to see in the pics, but folsom is written obeve the grip on the blank with#1520 under it.

This is one of the rarer Hardy Jet models in that it is a 3pc rod. The rod is the Hardy'Jet' 8 1/2' 3pc Trout Fly Rod. The blanks are brown with red tipped yellow whippings. It consists of eight one foot sections that. When put together, will make a seven foot or a six foot fly rod. The rod itself is unmarked. The rod butt has a down sliding reel seat and a 4 1/2" sheet cork grip. All sections have a Green silk winding with Red accents. Each section, except the butt, have one snake guide, plus tip sections have two different types of tip tops. The bamboo is sound, but needs a revarnish, and some of the ferrules need reglued. Vintage 2 Piece Apache Fly Rod By Berkley 775N 8'-0" Nice!! No Reserve!!!
This is a vintage Apache fly rod by Berkley. It's in nice condition exept the male ferrel appears to be stuck inside the female ferrel and will need to be removed and reglued to the bottom half of the rod. I can't see the ferrel inside there but the rod fits together snug as it is but needs to be repaired to make sure it stays attached while casting. Otherwise no other issues. All line guides are in tact and the ties are nice and tight. See the pictures. I have many more lures as well as fishing items so be sure and check my other listings. Offered only between 1939 and 1943, was Heddon's highest grade rod until the 1939 introduction of the Heddon#1000 Rod of Rods. Its hallmark feature is the hand checkered half-wells grip made from solid circassian walnut. The checkering, similar to that found on fine shotgun stocks, was done by the Remington Arms Company. Vintage Post WWII Sakurai/Sakura Split Bamboo Fly/Cast Fishing Rod Kit
This auction is for a vintage five piece Post WWII Sakurai split bamboo fly and casting rod combination kit with wooden storage box. It is in very good original condition. The kit includes the rod. A genuine silk plaited line, and other random accessories(all shown in the photographs) The wooden box includes an internal storage area to store additional accessories. There is a Sakura decal on the handle and on the wooden box. The rod can be assembled into a three piece 8’ fly rod or a two piece 5.6’ casting rod. Four sections measure 33” and one tip section is 27 ½” The 6 ¾” cork handle is in great condition. There are two snake eye guides on the fly rod mid section and three on one tip section and two on the second. The casting tip section has two guides. There is a stripper guide and hook keeper on the bottom section. The 33” tip ... moresection is not original to the rod but fits perfectly. All of the sections have the distinct“pop” sound when pulled apart. The male ferrule when inserted into the casting end of the reel seat does not slide in completely but it is a secure fit. There is a slight set which will not affect the casting of the rod. The wooden storage box is slightly weathered. And one of the hinges is loose. The honey-colored cane and varnish finish are excellent. The casting action is awesome and this classic wand would be right at home on creeks, streams, and lakes. It will also make a great display.

There is a South Bend decal and I would say this is a model 357 or 359 based on the taper of the rod. The bottom section measures 34 ½” Mid is 32 ½” and tip section is 28 ¼” This was originally an 8 1/2’ rod. I would estimate the fly line weight at a solid four or five. The 6” cork handle is fully functional. I repaired a small chip with wood filler. The reel seat is missing the end cap. There are no snake eye guides on the rod. The sections fit together perfectly. There is a slight natural set in the tip section. I meticulously stripped the old varnish. Refinished with four coats of spar varnish and completed ... moreit with high quality wood rubbing compounds. The ferrules have been buffed and polished. Vintage 7'6" Phillipson 3M Swamp Fox fiberglass Fly Rod 6 weight
For auction is a vintage 2 piece 7' 6" fiberglass fly rod made by Phillipson. Both pieces are the same length and straight. The labeling for the line and rod weight are worn out. With only the"6 line being legible. When I look at it now, the case could be made that it says#5 instead of 6. It does throw a 5 or a 6 weight line comfortably, I used it for both. A previous owner marked every 2 inches on the rod from 8 to 18. I, of course exceeded those markings in both directions with this rod. The wraps are all good on this rod. The cork is worn/soiled, as is the reel seat, but just from good use. The rod has a hook-keeper, a metal stripping guide, One double-looped snake guide, a worn(surface only) male fiberglass ferrule(see picture 4) a metal ring on the female ferrule, and 6 snake guides and a tip/top on the top piece. The ferrule is a good snug fit and has a ferrule cap. The varnish appears to have retained its original finish. Up for bidding is this Vintage South Bend 59-9 Split Bamboo Fly Fishing Rod There are four pieces with an extra tip. There is a South Bend decal with red lettering above the handle. This fly rod is in beautiful used condition with some wear to the cork handle. Each piece measures 36 3/4" long. There are no missing line eye guides and the wrapping appears to be very solid condition. I believe it is original. It comes in the original cloth bag, which is in good condition. This is a vintage Browning Silaflex in nice shape. Model 222930. Line 6 or 7. The rod is 8ft long. There is also a number close to the base. Shown in last picture, that is 548189. The base appears to be copper plated. There is a spot of wear on the cork about 1/4" by 2" Other than that, I cant see anything wrong at all. I also have a couple fly reels for sale on ebay. Vintage L.L. Bean Bamboo Fly Rod signed Bean's 110. Letter B is not so clear, i got it as a gift and never used it. The rod has 4 parts all together. There is a possibility that either the handle or the rest have been repaired. The reason i say this is because the main piece has a red color and the three pieces are gold and black. VINTAGE ROCKY MOUNTAIN SPECIAL SPLIT BAMBOO ROD 8' FLY FISHING ROD ANTIQUE POLE
This auction is for a used ROCKY MOUNTAIN SPECIAL fly rod as pictured. I understand this was a special built and made pole. Please double check. I do make mistakes. This is in decent shape for the year. I do see one eye missing as in the picture. It appears as maybe the last few inches of the tip may be broken off and missing where the eye was supposed to go. Other then that it does appear to be complete, but please check the pictures. I am not really familiar with these old poles and there are NO GUARANTEES OR RETURNS. There is some normal aging on this, but overall I feel it is in decent shape for the year. The 3rd section of the pole is slightly bowed or bent as pictured also. It also includes the case as shown. This measures just under 8' right around 7' but that is because the end is broken as pictured. I understand it is originally ... morea 8' rod. PENN INTERNATIONAL GOLD MEDAL SERIES (9WT) VINTAGE FLY ROD
A beautiful rod. Cork is in good shape,its had some hooks in it, the rod had a scuff in the finish that i repaired. it did not reach the graphite. It is model IMS6990. The action is tight and the rod itself weighs 5.5 oz. It has caught its share of bone fish redfish and mid size tarpon. It did its service in the fl keys. Id keep it but my shoulder says i have to go down to a six weight. Its nine feet long is a 9wt. two piece, has two large primary guides of porcelain and ten wire guides. All in all a wonderful rod. I had the tippet replaced in 1998 by World Wide Sportsman in Islamorada when it was just a wonderful small pro shop. comes in a Penn International hard case,the zipper is a lil sticky. will come insured and sig required. Have a great time with it.

Antique Vintage Ebisu Bamboo Fly Fishing Rod 2 lengths in one
This split bamboo fishing pole is pre WWII and is owned by our uncle who is in his 70's and was given to him by his father. It has not been used since he got it but has been stored. The pole has two different configurations. It has a tip for the formation of a 5 1/2 foot pole and two other pieces. A middle and tip, that forms an 8 1/2 foot pole. It can be configured for a spin cast or fly rod. It also has a spare tip for the longer pole. Please look at all photos as I am not a fisherman. Unfortunately we do not have the box. Here is little history on where the name Ebisu came from FYI. In Japanese mythology. Ebisu is one of the seven Gods of Fortune, said to be the god of fishermen, workingmen, and good luck. He is also the guardian of the health of children. According to legend he was born with no bones(or no arms and legs) and was cast ... moreinto the sea before the age of three. When he eventually washed ashore he was cared for by Ainu Ebisu Saburo. By three years of age he had regrown his skeleton(or limbs) and become the god Ebisu. He remained deaf and slightly crippled, but extremely jovial and is thus depicted laughing(so titled"The Laughing God" He is frequently paired with the god Daikokuten, the god of wealth; both are occasionally grouped with Fukurokuju and coined"The Three Gods of Good Fortune"

Vintage japanese bamboo fly rod comes in 5 pieces measures 8ft 6in when 3 parts are assembled. Is in as new condition some pictures show a bend but this is down to my camera not behaving as it should. Gallery photo shows them as they are, one of the blue packets is missing from lid and three others are loose.Think these rods are from late 60s early 70s,blue packets have makers mark of a whale below the letters S F T.

Vintage EDWARDS Bamboo Fly Rod MT. CARMEL in Great Condition - No Reserve
Fantastic ESTATE SALE FIND. This is a VINTAGE EDWARDS Fly Rod"Mt. Carmel. I have taken several photos. The bottom section measures 38 5/8. The middle section measures 38 1/2. The top section measures 32 7/8. The total length is 109 1/4. There is a 3" space for attaching the reel foot. The handle above the reel area measures 5 3/4. It is engraved"Edwards Mt. Carmel" as you see in the photo. The Overall condition is VERY GOOD. There is 1/2" of Very THIN thread of the wrap loose as seen in the top section of the pole. It looks worse in my photo than in person. And can be easily re-wrapped. It is a 1/2" in length and THIN thread. There is varnish on parts of the metal on the bottom section of the pole. All the wrappings and eyes are in great condition. There is only the one condition which is the thin loose thread ... morein the top wrapping. Other than that, anything would be considered very minor wear. The Varnish has a Superb tone. This comes with the original canvas roll up and its aluminum tube. The aluminum tube is original and has the original decal. The decal is rubbed as seen. But you can still make out Edwards Mt. Carmel. And the tube is missing the end cap. Up for auction i have this nice 8 1/2' Bamboo Fly Fishing Rod. The reel seat says Folsom New York and the logo is half visible on the rod. Its a 3 Pc and has an extra tip. I do fish and have seen many bamboo rods so i know some warping is not uncommon but i was pretty surprised when i put this rod together because its very straight.The extra tip however has a pretty good bend at the tip. Both tip sections are missing the top guides. The first(largest) guide is bent and the thread is starting to un-winde. The reel seat has a slight bit of movement left to right when you twist it.
