Vintage St Croix Imperial UL fly rod 2 piece 6 foot 8 inches 1 and 3/4 oz line E(L3aF) HDH(DT-6F) Rod is in very good condition. All graphics excellent, windings and guides excellent. Reel is a Martin 63 loaded with DT-5-F air cell, excellent condition with box The second rod is a vintage 7 foot two piece spinning rod, a H-I Horrecks-Ibbotson Co. Golden rod in good plus vintage condition. Both rods have the original fabric sleeves and aluminum tubes sans end caps. Here is a Vintage Horrocks& Ibbotson Bamboo Fly Rod. This is a Roosevelt model and is a 3 piece 3 tip for total leng th of 9 feet wi th the longest tip. The rod is in sound condition but needs to be refinished. The stripper guide is missing on the butt section and all guides are missing on the mid section, some of the othe rs need to be rewr ap ped. The f errules on some sections need to be reseated. The mid section is short by 1.5" The tips are all short by 3.5" 3" and 1.25" Most sections are pretty straight but the tips have fishing experience. The re is no sock or tube. Up for auction is a used Orvis Graphite Spring C reek 935-2- 9' 3" 5 weight 2piece- Fly Rod with original tube and bag. Th is rod was bui lt in 1985 and features a beautiful smoo th casting action. Great for delivering tiny dry flies on big water but enough backbone to fi gh t the wind. This rod is a joy to cast. A fantastic all around trout rod that could be used on a farm pon d for panfish or light bass. All guides. Wraps, and ferrules are in great shape. Tip section looks new than butt section and may have been re-built by Orvis. Cork shows some use but is pretty clean for a 30year old rod as shown in pics. Sport King" Vintage Montague Bamboo Fishing Fly Rod that has been kept in superb original condition. With copper ferrules that fit together very snugly This is an 8 1/2' rod, or even a few inches longer. Varnish is glossy and smooth and all of the wraps are tight and original. The decal is partially missing, but says"Genuine" and this rod looks like a high quality grade. Cranberry red and gold tipped wraps with silver eyes that are very tight and secure. Cork grip is very clean and intact. Butt grips are tight and secure with nothing missing. Comes with a hard plastic Fenwick case.

Rod is in good condition, has been fished, but plenty of life left in her. Reel seat bottom cap is missing but other then a good cleaning it is good to go. All wraps are in excellent condition, no rust on guides and look as good as new. Vintage Fenwick FS55 fly fishing rod, comes with original case and bag
This is a Fenwick FS55 rod. 5 1/2' 2 1/4 oz. 1/16-1/4 oz lures, 1-4 lb line. The condition is very very good, don't even know if it was ever really used at all. It looks almost brand new.

Vintage Fenwick Voyageur fly rod / spin rod, pack rod SF 75-5, 7 1/2 ft
Fenwick Voyageur fly/ spin pack rod# SF 75-5 7 1/2 foot. 1/8- 3/8 oz lure and 2-6 lb line, AFTMA Line 2-6. The rod handle is reversible for either fly or spin set up. The rod is in very good condition with no problems. Lettering and decals are having little bit missing(see Photo) All sections are the correct lengths and straight. And fit together correctly. The reel seat is new looking with no marks and the handle does have some wear with marks. The rod tube is scuffed up but no dents and the end cap is broken at the hinge. See Photo.

Here is an opportunity to get a Vintage Heddon Bamboo Fly Rod. This is Model#10“Blue Waters” and is a 3 piece 2 tip for total length of 9 1/2’ feet. The bamboo is in good shape overall. The varnish needs to be removed and redone. The guides on the mid section and both tips are on the rod. But the stripper is missing form the base section. The four pieces are full length measuring approximately 38 1/2” each. The Heddon writing on the handle is there and the rod model. Length, ferrule size and recommended line size is visible. The reel seat is broken and needs replacement. When refinished this would make a great rod for steelhead or bass. There is no sock or tube for the rod. I will pack well for shipping. The South Bend decals are intact. I would estimate it would nicely load and throw a modern day three weight fly line. The Model 290 was classified as South Bend Dry Fly Action rod. The six inch Comficient cork handle and lite lock reel seat are in good functional condition. There are three snake eye guides on the tip section and a stripper guide on the bottom section. VINTAGE Rare Francis "Digger" Degere model 201 bamboo fly rod
You are bidding on a Vintage Rare Francis"Digger" Degere model 201 Bamboo fly rod 7 1/2 foot 2/2 bamboo rod. The rod is made for a 4 weight reel and line. The rod has a couple of flaws. One of the tips is 4 1/2 inches short. Two of the guides have been rewrapped, there is some corosion on one of the tips as well as the wooden reel seat that had an old reel that was left on it while it was still wet. Other than that the rod is in good shape, all sections are straight and the nickel silver reel seat is in nice condition. The inscription on the reel seat reads: F Degere Model 201. 7 1/2' 4, 9-87. The rod comes with an aluminum tube as well as a rod sock. This is a chance to get a rare vintage rod from one of the well known bamboo rod makers at a reasonable price.

VINTAGE ORIGINAL POST WWII SPLIT BAMBOO FLY/CAST FISHING ROD KIT This auction is for a vintage five piece Post WW II“White Bear” split bamboo fly and casting rod combination kit with original wooden storage box. The kit includes 18 assorted hand tied flies. Silk gut leader material, snelled hooks and a unique pair of scissors all protected by a plastic covering. The rod is in excellent condition and I do not believe it has ever been used. There is a 100% intact White Bear decal on the handle. The rod can be assembled into a three piece 8’ fly rod or a two piece 5.6’ casting rod. All sections measure 33 ½” I would estimate the fly line weight to be a four-five. The 6 1/8” cork handle and screw down lock reel seat are in excellent condition. There is a crack on the female ferrule on the handle section. I believe this may have occurred ... moreduring the years this rod has been in storage. There are two snake eye guides on the fly rod mid section and three on each tip section. The casting tip section has three guides. There is a stripper guide and hook keeper on the bottom section. The rod fits together perfectly when assembled and has the distinct“pop” sound when pulled apart. All of the sections are straight. The wooden storage box is also in great condition. The honey colored cane and varnish finish are excellent. Check out all 17of the full screen high quality pictures to fully appreciate this gorgeous rod. VINTAGE MONTAGUE MT TOM SPLIT BAMBOO FLY FISHING ROD This auction is for vintage refinished three piece 9’ Montague MT Tom split bamboo fly rod. There is a partial Montague label and original Montague sticker on the cork handle. All of the section measure 37” I would estimate it would nicely throw a five weight fly line. The six inch cork handle and screw down lock reel seat are in very good functional condition. There are two snake eye guides on the mid section. Three on the tip and a stripper guide on the bottom section. One guide on the mid and tip sections have been re-wrapped. The female ferrule on the bottom section has a hair line crack(see picture) however it and all of the sections fit nicely when assembled and have the distinct pop sound when removed. There is a set in the tip section which will not affect casting of the rod. I ... moremeticulously stripped the old varnish. Refinished with four coats of spar varnish and completed it with high quality wood rubbing compounds. The ferrules have been buffed and polished. The classic brownstone colored bamboo cane and varnish finish are beautiful. The cork handle is in very good condition. The silver connectors are bright and shiny. The wrappings are all tight and in very good to excellent condition. The label is excellent and it reads: High Quality Everest Trade Mark Japan. There is a line winder and bobber unused and still in the original wrapper. There are also 2 vintage flies. Vintage L L Bean Bamboo Fly Rod Bean's Double L Fly Rod 9' Rod has seen lots of use. Top guide is missing not broken i think the glue dried out and it fell of. Finish is a little rough in spots. Center section bottom has red winding not black. The top tip is bent a little Bottom handle shows wear. I do not know if this rod can be fixed or not i will let you be the judge. 9.5 ft Montague Manitou Fly Fishing Rod 3-piece This is a rare Montague Manitou 3 piece fly fishing rod with spare end section. The reel seat style is rare. The finish on the has no scratches or dents. Made out of bamboo. The handle is a little worn. The length of each piece is about 39" The ferrules(metal connector between the sections) are in excellent condition and original. Based on a style by John Landman. This was probably made prior to the 1930's. I couldnt get a clear picture of the montague manitou lable but it is not worn off and clearly visible. Vintage Fenwick Feralite Fly Rod – 9ft 2pc 11 WT
This is a 9ft. 2 piece 11wt fiberglass Fenwick Feralite Fly Rod. This rod is in good used condition and could be fished immediately. There first snake guide is a little bent(see picture) and between the cork grip and first guide it looks like some plastic has peeled back. This could probably be cleaned up with a razor blade. I will let the new owner clean it up if they want. The reel seat does have an opening on the bottom. I am not sure if the cap fell off or if it originally came with a fighting butt. None of these issues effect the rod’s functionality. The rod has a nice action and is not often seen in this line weight. Please let me know if you have any questions. VINTAGE BAMBOO FLY ROD - 8'6" 3/1 + ALUMINUM TUBE & SOCK - NICE TAKE A LOOK
Up for bids is a beautiful vintage 8'6" 3/1 bamboo fly rod. Rod maker unknown- no ID present upon examination. It is super straight with a superb finish and appears that all parts are original. Most likely redone- but do not know rod's history. It has the old rattan grip and unusual tip which may indicate from the 1930s? My knowledge on these is limited so if you have any input it would be appreciated. I try and describe to the best of my ability. Pictures are hopefully the most informative for you- and my best ally for describing the rod- please view carefully. All the guides and wraps are present. Tight and without flaws. Ferrules fit well and have the distinct pop when separated. Hook keeper also present. Measurements- butt@35" Mid-section@35" and tip@34 7/8" I believe all original in length even though slight ... moredifference. The rod weighs 8.3 ounces. Maybe a little heavy but what a rod! Am guessing the line weight to be a#6. I am including a vintage Peerless aluminum tube and newer sock. Certainly not original but want to provide protection for such a fine rod! This is for a Bristol Edwards bamboo fly rod. In very good condition. It is 8-1/2' 3 piece. two tips. All sections are full length and straight. It has the Bristol Built decal on the rod. It is 100% On the rod in cream colored writing is says. Edwards- Bristol. FB7- 8-1/2' The reel seat is good. The cap has some wear. The cork is good. Has a few very small chunks out. It needs some cleaning. The wraps are excellent and the guides are very good. The striping guide is an agate type guide. Ferrules are good. And the finish is very good. I comes with it's original Bristol labeled bag in good condition. It comes in hard plastic tube which it will be mailed in. Very nice rod. Key words. Quality Leonard Vintage Fly Fishing Bamboo Rod Rare 8 1/2Ft 3 piece rod.The rod assembled using three pieces weighs 4.5 ounces.I do not see a line weight designation but think it is a 4wt or heaviest a 5wt. The case is the original(heavy brass butt cap and screw top)comes with the cloth bag.There are five sections of rod.2 Tips,2 mid sections,one butt. not sure why it has 2 mid sections,slightly different but same hardware)One mid section is 3 inches shorter(pretty sure not broke,I think that it is to accommodate more than one line weight.The tips are full length and appear to be nice and straight, the whole rod is straight with no sets or warps.The rod appears to be in very good condition as shown and ready to fish if you like.There is an agate guide on the butt section. The finish looks nice with nice original ... morehardware.one mid section bottom ferrule has light damage,looks easy to fix without replacing. All ferrules match. All snake guides match.The patent date is on the butt section ferrule( Sept. 3 1878 Oct 26 7. This is certainly a prewar Leonard, likely from the late 20's or 1930's. Vintage "Unknown" Bamboo Fly Rod. Ten Foot. Two Tips Included.
Unknown Maker Split Bamboo Fly Rod. Two Tips are included. This is a very old rod. Note the guides. They consist of loops made of carbaloy. They look like old hook keepers. It appears that this rod was in the process of being reconditioned. not by me) i. e. the bottom part has interim wraps and the other sections do not. And there is no varnish on the rod. I believe the handle probably had a layer of cord or cork over it at one time. The only marking on the rod is"patent applied for" on the reel seat. The contraption it sits in when stored is made out of wood and has remnants of cloth on it in the grooves that the rod pieces fit in. I have had it for years but I do not like to recondition fly rods any more! Please rely on photos for condition!

RARE Vintage 1938 Wright McGill Water Seal Super Rod Fly Bamboo Fishing 4 Pce 9’
Up for auction today is very nice vintage bamboo fishing rod. The rod is a 4-piece rod with one of the pieces being an extra tip. The 3 pieces when put together measure 108” long. The label on the rod is marked WRIGHT& MCGILL HAND MADE Water Seal SUPER ROD SEALED AGAINST WATER. On the label. It also has the seal balancing a ball logo and next to that in small lettering“1950 W& M CO. The label is in mint condition. On the reel seat the lettering reads; MADE BY WRIGHT& MCGILL ROD CO. DENVER COLO USA 12 1938 PAT NO 2114107(patent issued for the reel seat on April 12 1938– the April is unreadable) It come with a metal case with a cloth sleeve. The label on the metal case reads; WRIGHT& MCGILL HAND MADE WATER SEAL SUPER ROD 1950 W& M CO SEALED AGAIST WATER F.A.H.90 9’ FLY ROD. The label is missing a piece where the MG in Mcgill ... moreis…see photos. The metal case has some scratches on it. The case has brass ends and is all non-magnetic. The main portion is pained a beautiful burgundy color and is probably aluminum. The cap threads onto the case. The rod itself is in excellent condition. When I was shooting the photos I noticed an area section on one of the tip sections that looks likes a repair(see last photo) it is about 2 ½” long. Other than I see no breaks. Missing parts or repairs. Please see photos to determine condition and ask questions. I could not find any information that would date this model. The 1950 on the label would indicate a 1950 or later date? 1/21/13 A friend sent me these off of a forum today The only major addition by the Wright& McGill Rod Co. came in 1952 with introduction of the impregnated series of Water Seal rods. The company called the impregnated bamboo for these rods Densified Cane. This was the only bamboo rod model marketed by Wright& McGill that was not called a Granger rod.
