This is one of 5 wading shoes that I have. I wish I could wear them all.all the time! I haven't had the chance to wear this shoe much. The felt bottom has material that overlaps in the front and back to prevent the felt from peeling off. That is a common problem that I have seen. I like the extra protection on the front of the shoe as that is what gets all the abuse.
